When Calls The Heart Spoilers reveal that Daniel Lissing played Jack Thorton on the show. Jack was the son of Thomas Thornton, who was also a Mountie and got killed in the line of duty.

Jack had a relationship at one time with Elizabeth Thatcher’s (Erin Krakow) sister, Julia Thatcher (Charlotte Hegele). Jack later ended up married to Elizabeth.

Jack had plans in Cape Fullerton because his superiors transferred him to Coal Valley (later renamed Hope Valley). William Thatcher (Garwin Sanford) was responsible for the transfer.

Jack originally demanded to go back to Cape Fullerton but later changed his mind because the town grew on him.

WCTH Spoilers – Jack Thornton And Elizabeth Thatcher

Jack was upset when he realized he had been sent to Coal Valley to babysit Elizabeth. However, Jack eventually fell in love with Elizabeth.

Unfortunately, his ex-fiancé caused some issues for a bit but finally realized that Jack had moved on, and they had both changed. Elizabeth almost leaves but changes her mind.

After a few rocky spots in their relationship back and forth Jack and Elizabeth waste no time getting married. This was in When Calls The Heart Season 5 before Daniel left the show. Jack was killed in a landslide shortly thereafter.

Elizabeth considers leaving Hope Valley but decides that his her calling and stays in town. A few months later, Elizabeth gives birth to Jack’s son.

Lately fans have been thinking that Jack could be returning. The fact that Elizabeth is about to move on with someone else certainly makes one wonder if Jack could so up any time.
