Why Does Barron Trump Dress Like A Donald Trump Mini-Me?

Barron Trump turned 18 this year and the media is scrutinizing his every move. It seemed that the press respected his privacy while he was a minor, but now that he’s an adult the public can’t get enough information about the tall and handsome teen.

Barron is the only child of former US president Donald Trump and former supermodel Melania Trump. Lately his dress code has become a talking point. Here’s what to know about the impeccably dressed teenager!

Barron Trump – Is Impeccably Dressed

Melania is said to be extremely close to her son, her only child. In 2013 Barron was just 7 years old when his mom talked to ABC News and mentioned his preferred fit.

“He’s not a sweatpants child” said Melania of young Barron. She added that he “doesn’t mind putting on [a suit] — but not every day — and he likes to dress up in a tie sometimes like Daddy.” Aw!

Barron Trump – Admires His Dad

It seems that Barron is so in awe of his famous father that Melania called him a “Mini-Donald.” Except that Barron is not so mini, he is 6 feet, 7 inches tall and at 18 he could still be growing.

So, why does Barron prefer to dress up in public rather than remain casual? The truth may surprise you.

In 2017, when Barron was 11, a op-ed article ran in the Daily Caller headlined “It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House.” The writer denigrated the youngster for dressing too casually, as if he were POTUS!

In reality, Barron dressed totally appropriately for his age, including shorts and tees. But he did stand out next to his immaculately dressed parents.

Perhaps Barron felt embarrassed by the attention he was getting for his dress choices and decided to blend in.

Of course the choice is up to him, but we think it’s shameful that an adult called out a kid for dressing like his peers.

It’s also possible that his high-profile parents encouraged their son to up his style game. Whatever the reason, it’s a safe bet that these days when you see Barron in public, most recently stumping for his dad, he will be dressed like a boss.
