She said what she said, and she means it. There’s a new report that suggests Queen Camilla might be getting in the way of King Charles and his younger, wayward brother Prince Andrew. But she has a good reason for it. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Apparently, it’s the Queen of England who is blocking “crunch talks” between her husband, the King of England, and Prince Andrew, over his residence, the Royal Lodge.

The Duke of York is doing whatever he can to stay in the Royal Lodge, but it’s King Charles who wants him to downgrade to Frogmore Cottage instead. But Andrew’s not having it.

One source close to the situation says that Queen Camilla is keeping Prince Andrew at arm’s length from her husband because he’s dealing with enough right now, and that’s mostly due to his ongoing cancer battle. 

And if there’s one person who is going to protect his man, you better believe it’s going to be Queen Camilla.

The insider even put it this way, “They are not in each other’s pockets at Balmoral and probably only regularly see one another at dinner. This summer the King needs rest more than ever.”

“The cancer treatment has been tiring and it makes him often fall asleep. I can’t think of anything guaranteed to make him go off the deep end than to have Royal Lodge brought up.”

Clearly, Queen Camilla knows that King Charles needs to save all of the energy that he has, especially as he’s doing everything he can to fight his cancer.

The last thing that the King of England needs right now is a drawn out fight with his little brother over where he’s going to live for the next few years.

Plus, it’s not like Prince Andrew should be arguing with his older brother to begin with. After all, he is the King of England. King Charles expects his brother to simply cooperate with what he says. But that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon.
