He’s just telling it like it is. Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris only moments after the first presidential debate was over on Tuesday. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

During an interview with Fox News, JD made it pretty clear that he doesn’t think Taylor’s endorsement is going to change Kamala’s poll numbers in any way.

JD believes that someone like Taylor simply doesn’t live in the same world as her fans and followers and that’s why she doesn’t have much of an influence over them, or at least not politically.

He said, “I don’t think most Americans, whether they are fans of hers or not, are gonna be influenced by a billionaire celebrity who I think is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans.”

Sharing a photo of herself alongside one of her cats, Taylor wrote on her social media accounts: “Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most.”

“As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”

Taylor then continued, “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharrisbecause she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump says that Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris was just a question of time.

During an interview with Fox, he said, “It was just a question of time. She [Swift] couldn’t possibly endorse Biden … You look at Biden, you couldn’t possibly endorse him.”
