Trump says Governor Tim Walz once called him and asked if he could send out a tweet because protesters surrounded his house with American flags.

“He called up years ago… he said, ‘My house is being surrounded by people with American flags.'”

“I said, ‘Is that a good thing or a bad thing?'”

“He said, ‘I think they’re gonna attack me.’ They were MAGA people.”

“He said, ‘Could you put out a word like that I’m your friend?’ I don’t even know him. But that’s the only time I ever spoke to him.”

“I put out a statement. ‘He’s a good man. The governor, he’s on our side.’ I didn’t know him, but I didn’t want him to get hurt. And everybody put down their flags and they left.”

Some fans and critics alike commented on the matter on social media.

They said, “Walz is very weak and demonstrates several odd tendencies. Is his marriage just a show?”

“Tim Walz is scared of the American flag. If they were communist flags, he would have been okay.”
