Melania Trump’s New Christmas Ornaments Result In Ridicule

Melania Trump has a new book coming this month, perhaps that’s why the knives are out for the former supermodel and First Lady?

Her husband Donald Trump is running for office again and on Saturday the former FLOTUS was ridiculed after bragging about her latest business venture.

This weekend Melania, mother of Barron Trump, trumpeted her brand-new Christmas ornament collection with the words: “Merry Christmas, AMERICA! Each unique piece captures the magic of the holiday season. Let these ornaments inspire cherished memories & bring warmth to your entire family.”

Her announcement on X reveals that her decorations range from $75 to $90 and are named ‘USA Star,’ ‘Vote Liberty,’ ‘Let It Snow,’ and ‘Love & Freedom.’ But according to the Daily Mail, Melania’s Christmas schtick isn’t sitting right with some.

That’s because when she was ensconced in the White House in 2018, Melania reportedly said that decorating the White House, a time-honored tradition, was too much: “You know, who gives a f— about Christmas stuff and decoration?” I don’t know about you, but a First Lady with a sailor mouth is refreshing.

When Melania decorated the White House with Christmas trees dripping with sharp icicles social media users called the décor “eerie and cold.” In 2018, she debuted 40 “blood-red trees and draped 14,000 red ornaments throughout the White House.” She said the bold color symbolized “valor and bravery” but the public labeled them “murder trees.”

Barron Trump Is Melania’s Only Child

After her post today an X user pushed back: “We all know what you REALLY think about Christmas” and another wrote “You are always trying to sell something. Damn girl.”

In the midst of the venom Kellyanne Conway stuck up for her friend saying she preferred Melania’s Christmas decorating to that done by Jill Biden: “It was very tastefully done.”

In a recent post promoting her upcoming book, Melania’s referenced her 2020 controversial redesign of the White House Rose Garden and gave a staunch defense of her nude modeling photos.

At the time Presidential historian Michael Beschloss criticized Melania Scissorhands: “The evisceration of the White House Rose Garden was completed a year ago this month, and here was the grim result—decades of American history erased.”
