King Charles Desperate To Have A Real Relationship With Archie and Lilibet

The past few days have seen Meghan Markle dragged online following the publication of a Hollywood Reporter article claiming that she was a difficult boss to work for. In the aftermath of this fallout, royal experts are sharing insights into Charles’ stance on the ongoing rift existing between the family and the Sussexes.

Royal Expert Claims King Charles Won’t Cut Prince Harry Off For the Sake of Archie and Lilibet

Since flying over with their parents for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, Archie and Lilibet are yet to accompany their parents to England. This means that apart from Zoom calls, Archie and Lilibet have likely not seen much of their extended family in years.

Meanwhile, Harry is threatening not to return to the UK with the kids unless he is granted the proper security, and according to royal expert Ingrid Seward, it’s “sad” King Charles doesn’t get to have a relationship with the Sussex children.

“Family has always been important to the king,” she added. “He remembers his own somewhat fragmented childhood as his parents were always busy doing their duty. It is a great sadness to him he doesn’t see more of Archie and Lilibet.”

Despite all of Harry’s betrayals and public criticisms, Seward, who is the author of ‘The Queen and Di: The Untold Story,’ told Express that the farthest thing on Charles’ mind is cutting Harry off permanently.

“That is why he will never break ties with Harry,” she continued. “He does not want a FaceTime relationship with his son’s children.

He wants to know them and be involved with their lives while they are still young enough to be able to learn from his wisdom. His cancer has made it all the more poignant to him as he knows that he won’t be around forever.”

Reports emerged days before Harry’s 40th birthday on September 15 that a call has been arranged between him and his father King Charles. The royal family also acknowledged his milestone birthday with a post shared on their official social media channels.

Insiders are further saying that the monarch “is open to doing whatever it takes to make sure that his relationship with Archie and Lilibet goes beyond the occasional FaceTime call.”
