Johnny Depp Enjoys Support From Family, Friends And Co-stars As He Opens New Art ExhibitionJohnny Depp is finding a lot of joy and support doing the things that he loves. Last month, during the premiere of ‘Modi,’ the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star was showered with praises from the stars of the film, who called him a talented, kind, and wonderful visionary.

Despite the controversies that came from the Amber Heard case, Depp seems to have solidly moved on and found his footing in the entertainment world once more.

Johnny Depp – Unveils His First Ever Art Exhibit In New York City

I legit think Depp is the Dolly Parton of the acting world. So far, he’s managed to lay his hands on just about everything he can find in the entertainment industry, whether it be writing songs and shredding a guitar onstage or unveiling his own original art for fans to admire.

The event was said to be a lively one, with Depp’s sister Christi Dembrowski, director Jim Jarmusch, actor Justin Bartha and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer in attendance.

Titled ‘A Bunch of Stuff,’ attendees enjoyed an immersive and experiential exhibition for the special preview event, which was held on Monday, Sept. 30, in Manhattan. Depp was also supported by the wider artist community, both local and international.

The 61-year-old star wore a hat and sunglasses and took pictures with a couple of attendees, smoking at one point and smiling the whole evening.

The exhibit features Depp’s works from his early 20s to his more recent ones from his homes and art studios.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE last month, Depp said, “Through the magic and madness of life, art has been my sanctuary. These pieces, born of different stages of my journey are a residue of a life lived. Creation is not always a comfortable process, but for me it’s a necessary one.”

What BAUART Co-founder Has Said About Johnny Depp’s Art

Creator of museums, exhibitions and experiences BAUART partnered with Pantheon Art and its partners TAIT for the exhibit, with the venue represented by the Kagency.

In a previous state, BAUART co-founder Guy Vesey said, “Johnny Depp is celebrated worldwide as an actor, director and musician. What is less well known is that art has played a deeply personal and highly important role in his life since childhood.”

“We believe A Bunch of Stuff will leave audiences inspired to create; to realize, as Depp exemplifies, that art can be more than just paint on canvas,” added Vesey. “That it can be healing, transformative and empowering for all ages, no matter your background or experience.”
