TLC Influencer Opens Up Home To Hurricane Milton Refugees

It’s not just people who live in the south who worry about Hurricane Milton which barrels toward Florida, the whole world has an eye on it, including a well-known influencer who often shares about cast members from the TLC network. This week, he offered anyone from Florida who needed refuge to stay at his place.

Hurricane Milton Follows Hurricane Helene

When Hurricane Helene hit Florida, other areas far away were wrecked, including parts of North Carolina, where Sister Wives star Janelle Brown recently bought land for her flower farm. Helene made landfall as a category 4 storm, but Milton is already a category 5 hurricane.

TLC influencer, John Yates is the one who felt so concerned for the people of Florida, that he offered his home to those in need of refuge. If you don’t know, he often interviews people like Paul Staehle, and more recently, stars from Sister Wives, like Paedon Brown. Of course, he also talks with Angela Deem quite a lot.

On Tuesday, John Yates shared a screenshot of Hurricane Milton on his Instagram. You can find the link at the bottom of this article. His @johnyatesofficial account has nearly 30K followers. Meanwhile, his John Yates 427 TV account has over 100K followers. Then, on YouTube, he has just under 50K subscribers. So, he’s got quite a lot of reach.

Of course, it is unlikely that the TLC influencer can put up thousands of desperate people. But, as he is in New Jersey, about 1,127 miles from Tampa, probably, not too many people will drive the distance. Still, his kind offer did not go unnoticed.

In his caption, John Yates wrote:

As I just said on my live if anyone needs a place to evacuate to because of hurricane Milton you can come to our house… My phone number is 516 306 0633. We love you all and we want EVERYONE to be safe – You can also call 516 477 7581 which is Cody’s number. #HurricaneMilton
