According to the latest reports, Tulsi Gabbard announces she is joining the Republican party at a Trump rally in North Carolina.

It’s been noted that the move comes after Gabbard left the Democratic party, calling it an “elitist cabal of warmongers.”

The Hawaii native said one of her main reasons for joining the party was because of Trump’s “strength to fight for peace.”

She said, “I’m proud to stand here with you today, President Trump, and announce that I’m joining the Republican Party.”

“I’m joining the party of the people, the party of equality, the party that was founded to fight against and end slavery in this country.”

“It is the party of common sense and the party that is led by a president who has the courage and strength to fight for peace.”

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter.

Some comments included, “This is what real courage looks like: leaving the losers behind and joining the fight for America’s future! How could you in good faith still be a democrat in 2024.”

Another critic wrote, “Tulsi will be a net positive for the party, but there needs to be a serious conversation about calling out the war mongering uniparty dead weight in the Republican party after Trump gets into office.”

“I honestly think Donald Trump didn’t know that was coming.”
