When Calls the Heart Spoilers: Hearties Concerned Kavan Smith Leaving WCTH

After the last episode showed Lee being critically injured, fans are worried that Kavan Smith, who plays the role, might be leaving the show.

Sunday night’s episode of When Calls the Heart left fans devastated. After the savage storm, Lee has been brutally injured and fans are wondering if he will die. This would obviously mean Kavan Smith leaving the Hallmark Channel show.

After losing Daniel Lissing (voluntarily) and Lori Loughlin (due to scandal), When Calls the Heart was almost in trouble. If Lee is dead, it is unknown what effect this could have on Hearties. It was during the storm that he went missing when he and Jesse were in the woods. Everyone was searching for Lee and finally found him, unconscious and severely injured.

Is Lee dead on When Calls the Heart?

It was during the storm that a tree fell, blocking the road into Hope Valley. Rescuers almost immediately found Jesse and he is fine, but there was initially no sign of Lee. When Jesse told Rosemary about the situation, he was obviously worried. However, by this time, Lee had been discovered and taken by to town.

An extended sneak peek into Sunday’s episode doesn’t give much information about Lee and his condition, other than the fact that the townsfolk are gathered waiting to hear more about him.

As everyone worries about her husband, Rosemary is concerned about Jesse. While it wasn’t anywhere near his fault, he feels so bad over Lee’s injury, Rosemary wants to comfort him.

Lee’s heart is beating, but he is obviously in danger, leading Hearties to be really worried Kavan is leaving the show. This would not only be a huge loss to Hope Valley but also to the fan base of When Calls the Heart.

Hearties have to be patient

Luckily there are still a couple of episodes to go on this season, so there is time for Lee to recover and the scare to be over. Fans will just have to be patient to see what the story holds for Kavan’s character.

As things stand, the show must go on, with or without Lee. The show has managed to continue without Daniel and Lori, so it can surely survive the loss of another fan-favorite character. The next episode airs on Sunday with the title “New Possibilities.” That title does sound hopeful – and possibly means Lee is alive and well.
