Rosie O’Donnell Daughter, Chelsea Freed With Limitations

Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, the daughter of Rosie O’Donnell, was arrested in October and charged with child neglect and multiple drug offenses. Some of them related to her young child, Atlas. Now she’s out of jail, it comes with limitations on what she can do. Read on to find out more details.

Rosie O’Donnell Daughter Chelsea Was Detained

Fans were shocked when they heard about Chelsea and her young son, Atlas. After all, he wasn’t even a year old when the cops found drugs and paraphernalia in the room where he slept.  The home that she shares with Jacob Nelund was described by 911 officers as disgusting, with rotten food, diapers, and more strewn around as well as paraphernalia. 

Rosie O’Donnell, a comedian, wasn’t laughing much when she reacted to the arrest of Chelsea. In fact, she seems to have washed her hands of Chelsea Belle O’Donnell. At the time, she said that type of behavior “is not new for our family.” Actually, Chelsea seemed to have been a very troubled child as well. 

Rosie O’Donnell Daughter Is Out Of Jail

After at least two run-ins with the law, Chelsea finally ended up behind bars but appeared in court “in Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 12,” per InTouch Weekly. Chelsea will need to behave herself though, after she paid her “$4,000 bond.”

There are some restrictions on what the daughter of Rosie O’Donnell can do outside of jail. Actually, the restrictions seem reasonable given the nature of the alleged crimes. Allegedly, cops found methamphetamine and narcotic substances in the home. Then there was child maltreatment and more, including resisting arrest. 

The Restrictions

The outlet cited the court as placing the following restrictions on Chelsea:

[The] Defendant shall not possess/consume alcoholic beverages. Defendant shall not possess/consume any illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia/controlled substances without a valid prescription.  Defendant shall immediately report to the Sheriff’s Department for fingerprinting and photographing.

From the tone of the comments, it seems like Chelsea’s behavior has tarnished Rosie O’Donnell somewhat. Actually, Chelsea is adopted, but she was raised by her adoptive mother, who might have struggled with the troubled kid.
