According to the latest reports, the House Ethics Committee votes against releasing the Matt Gaetz report which stemmed from allegations of s*xual misconduct.

“There was not an agreement by the committee to release the report,” said Ethics Chair Michael Guest.

The 10-person panel, with 5 Republicans and 5 Democrats, voted along party lines on whether the report would be released or not. It’s also been noted that Gaetz has denied all wrongdoing. It goes without saying that the internet certainly has had a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “The Democrats are attempting to use the Ethics Committee to smear a political enemy. If Gaetz committed a crime, Garland would’ve charged him. TRUST me.”

“Garland went after a former president, elderly women, and many more. Of course, he would have gone after Gaetz.”

Another critic wrote, “It’s my understanding Gaetz was already investigated by the Biden DOJ and they didn’t find anything concrete enough worth pursuing?”

“That’s because there is nothing there. If the DOJ didn’t prosecute there is NOTHING THERE.”

And then there was this comment as well: “They know what is coming, they are not done and will do all they can to stop his confirmation.”

“The report is worth less than the paper it’s printed on, the DOJ investigated Matt for 3 years and made the choice not to pursue charges from lack of evidence and witness credibility.”

Of course, the internet certainly has had a lot to say about the matter.
