The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Has Been More And More Stressed As The Time Nears For Her Lumpectomy

As viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall, Sharon has become more and more stressed as the time has neared for her lumpectomy, although it sounds like according to her latest scan that her breast cancer at least has not spread, even though it has not shrunk as her oncologist hoped it would after the weeks of chemotherapy treatments that she endured. She wanted to remain strong and not weak, although one day she became frustrated at Crimson Lights, her coffee shop, and threw and broke a sugar dispenser after spilling sugar that she was trying to fill it with.

Rey Rosales, (Jordi Vilasuso) had come into the shop just as she had broken the sugar dispenser on the floor and they went home to her place, where she cried that she wanted that thing out of her and she was upset that the chemo didn’t shrink it! It was definitely a stress-relieving time for her to let herself not be strong and let Rey be the strong one for her!

It sounds like she may have a similar meltdown when Jack comes to her rescue, and perhaps Rey is at work, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is busy with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is elsewhere! Jack has some stress going on of his own, but he seems the kind of guy to always lend a shoulder to cry on in a time of need! Plus, Jack and Sharon have known each other for a long, long time.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott And Sharon Newman Were Once Married

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Jack and Sharon were once married – from 2007 through 2009, in between his two marriages to Phyllis. They remained friendly although there were some not so friendly reasons for their divorce – it’s all water under the bridge now. Jack can be a very kind and supportive person, viewers will recall from several months ago he even took a concern for his longtime nemesis Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when he nearly passed out from the wrong dosage of his medicine for his blood disorder, when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) had switched his pills.

But then Victor is a good bit older than Jack, and Jack likely has learned to be kinder to older folks since caring for his mother Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) who is progressively deteriorating mentally because of Alzheimer’s Disease. However it comes about, and wherever Jack is when Sharon needs support, he will notice, and rush to her aid to comfort her and be a good friend when she needs someone the most!

      I don’t think Sharon is deeply mad in love with Rey at this point. She tends to keep him at a distance. I’d be okay with Jack & Sharon as a couple. Still wish they’d bring Gloria back.

      Sharon and Jack are a lovely couple but they are both too kind. It works best when you have them trying to bring out the best in others, otherwise it will feel like all the good people are in one corner. They need to be moving around trying to encourage the pack of nasty friends to do and be better. I would like to see more collaboration though with Jack, Devon, Nate, Nick, Sharon and Elana. These are all people who are really believable when fighting for a cause and the good of others. And mix people up I would like to see Devon being more than a token guest at a fancy party. Elana would make a great female friend for Sharon.
