A man who claims rapper Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is his biological father recently shared the allegations within his lawsuit. In the case, the man also shared the fallout that has unraveled since his mom first filed a paternity test.
Interestingly enough, this all unfolded after the rapper was named in a civil suit that was refiled against Sean “P-Diddy” Combs. More on this story, below.
Man Claiming To Be Jay-Z’s Son – His Story
Rymir Satterthwaite has been under the impression that Jay-Z was his father for a while now. His mom had him at 16 years of age. It’s important to note that the rapper has denied these claims.
Recently, Satterthwaite filed a new case in the New Jersey court system and alleges that judges “conspired” with the music star concerning his paternity for over ten years now.
As per the recent papers filed, Rymir and Lillie Coley, his Godmother claimed Jay-Z lied that he did not have property in New Jersey. As such, the court ruled that they had no jurisdiction over the music mogul.
Still, according to the U.S. Sun, the case claims that Carter’s name appears on tax records and property deeds. The suit alleges that six judges
The Paternity Test Filing Took Place In 2010
While the rapper isn’t directly listed as a defendant in the most current suit filing, he is mentioned a number of times.
In addition, reports reveal that Jay-Z has had multiple legal fights with Rymir, Coley, as well as Satterthwaite’s late mother, Wanda, over the years. The legal battles first began in 2010 when Rymir’s mom filed for a paternity test.
The case also alleges some worrisome incidents that occurred to Rymir and his family after their legal battles with the rapper. For example, Rymir claims his car was “shot by unknown individuals”, and both he and Coley have also alleged that “unknown individuals” follow them throughout the community.
In 2022, Rymir’s family was ordered to pay Carter $15,000 in legal fees, which they allege caused an “illegal lien” placed on their home in New Jersey. All in all, the family estimates they’ve spent $100,000 due to the lawsuits. Via the new claim, the family is requesting damages.
The new legal case is one of many worries for the rapper, as Carter was named in a refiled suit that claims he sexually assaulted an underage victim along with P. Diddy. As per the claim, this occurred at the 2000 MTV VMAs, something Jay-Z also denies.
