General Hospital Alum Amber Tamblyn Offers Support To Blake Lively For Lawsuit Against Ex-B&B Star Justin BaldoniGeneral Hospital (GH) spoilers remind fans of a time when Amber Tamblyn played Emily Quartermaine on the soap. She entered the role as a child in 1995, which kickstarted her career in acting, and Tamblyn would move on to be a part of some successful primetime and movie projects.

One of them was The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants, which spawned a sequel. The actress and author worked on the films with Blake Lively, who has had her fair share of ups and downs in 2024: one example of this is a lawsuit that she recently launched against another soap alum Justin Baldoni (The Bold and the Beautiful’s ex-Graham Darros).

Tamblyn, along with other co-stars from The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants, recently released a statement in support of Lively.

General Hospital – More On Blake Lively’s Lawsuit

Some fans may be familiar with a recent film that Lively worked on with Baldoni, titled, “It Ends with Us”. Lively and Baldoni both starred in the film, and he also directed the project.

The movie showcased a domestic violence story, and the flick hit the mainstream headlines thanks to the behind-the-scenes feud that allegedly occurred between Lively and Baldoni.

Lively launched a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, and she also claims he created a PR smear campaign to destroy her Hollywood reputation.

Baldoni has since been dropped by his agent, and it’s important to note that he isn’t the only one who has been named in Lively’s legal case; Wayfarer Studios, the production company Baldoni co-founded with Steve Sarowitz, along with James Heath, It Ends with Us’ lead producer, is also named in the suit.

In addition, Jed Wallace, Melissa Nathan, and Jennifer Abel, the PR professionals allegedly linked to the smear campaign, have been included, as well.

General Hospital – Alum Amber Tamblyn Supports Fellow Sisterhood of Travelling Pants Co-Star, Blake Lively

Back to Tamblyn, she, along with other Sisterhood of Travelling Pants co-stars, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel, released a joint statement on social media to offer a united front of support for Lively.

The women state that as Lively’s ‘friends and sisters’ for over two decades, they stand in solidarity with her as she battles against the alleged PR campaign to ruin her reputation.

The statement goes on to note, “Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.”

The statement points to the ‘unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ to keep a woman who requested safety, silent. The statement notes how the ‘hypocrisy is astounding.’

The co-stars closed the social media message by praising Lively for having the courage to stand up for herself, both with this lawsuit and during her time filming the movie.
