Jeremy Clarkson, best known for Top Gear and varying incidents of what society considers bad behavior, was something of a prophet when it came to motoring. But did you know that in his off-handed way, the man who recently concluded his Grand Tour by calling Zimbabwe the “best” that “they saved for last” might have predicted a 2024 tragedy? Read on for more.
Jeremy Clarkson Is Controversial But Is He A Seer?
The Top Gear personality was well known for controversial behavior and statements. In fact, he famously hoped that people throw “excrement” at Meghan Markle. And, viewers either loved or hated him. Most recently, he’s been living in the Cotswolds bringing laughter with his Diddly Squat farming efforts.
Apart from evading prosecution for the alleged Markle hate crime, Jeremy Clarkson is known for nailing it with motoring predictions. In July, he correctly predicted, using a weather App on his phone, that Lewis Hamilton would win the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Plus, the former Top Gear star predicted that Formula 1 designer, Adrian Newey would join Aston Martin instead of Ferrari.
Did Jeremy Clarkson predict A Tragic Event In 2024?
As the former Top Gear star is in motoring, it’s not impossible that he would be right about Max Verstappen holding onto his lead in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship. But it is interesting to note that he might have predicted something else, although in his often scornful way.
While Jeremy Clarkson is very Green in his outlook and passionately hates all excess packaging, he isn’t a fan of the Climate change agenda. In a now-archived article by The Independent on 13 November 2005, the former Top Gear star ranted about whether climate change effects are a bad thing and got sarcastic about Switzerland’s ski resorts. But, he did say something that came to pass this year.
What 2024 Event Was Predicted By The Top Gear Alum?
The motoring fanatic, now a farmer said:
The beach in Miami is washed away? North Carolina gets knocked over by a hurricane? Anything bothering you yet?
Well, the North Carolina devastation that happened in September arrived when Hurricane Helene brought floods, landslides, and death. It was one of the most devasting tragedies in the history of the state. And to this day, many people struggle with appalling conditions and loss.
Hopefully, Jeremy Clarkson doesn’t have any more devastating moments as a seer! While he might have been facetious, it seems incredibly coincidental that the exact state he mentioned 19 years ago suffered from the weather tragedy.
What are your thoughts? Do believe that Jeremy Clarkson might be a seer? Or, was it simply a coincidence that he mentioned North Carolina and a hurricane so many years ago? Sound off in the comments below, and come back here often for all your celebrity news and updates.
