General Hospital Spoilers: GH Alum Bryan Craig’s Tribute To His Onscreen Dad

In the soap world, its quite the norm for actors to come and go. Some come and shine in the soap community and then leave to pursue other gigs in primetime television or film roles. That was the case when Bryan Craig opted to leave the role of Morgan Corinthos on General Hospital. A role he won a Daytime Emmy award for.

Recently, Craig who found some success since leaving the ABC daytime drama shared a throwback and a little tribute at his father/son duo on the show when he posted a flashback picture/tribute with himself standing beside Maurice Benard who plays his onscreen father, Sonny Corinthos.

General Hospital News – Bryan Craig Played Morgan Corinthos

It was big soap news when Craig who was new to the world of soaps was announced as the aged and new Morgan Corinthos. He started playing the role in 2013 when his character returned to the canvas older and in scenes with Kristen Alderson’s Kiki Jerome. His character was sadly “killed off” in 2016 when he decided to vacate the role. He made a brief appearance on the show in 2018 sharing scenes with Maura West’s Ava Jerome.

Since leaving General Hospital and winning the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2016 and 2017. He was nominated two other times before that in the same category in 2014 and 2015 Craig took on the role of Jevi Mendoza in one of ABC’s latest primetime drama called Grand Hotel. After one season, the show was unfortunately not renewed for a second one. He also played the recurring role of Sgt. Adam Coogan on Valor.

General Hospital News – Moving To New York

While he recently announced his relocation to New York and there’s not much news for him on the acting front, Craig has already worked on a few projects that are in the pipeline and on the horizon. He has a couple of films that are yet to be released and according to IMDB, he will be a part of an upcoming series. The series is called Revenge Wars and he is set to play the role of Det. Cody ‘Omaha’ Harris.
