General Hospital Spoilers: Measure C’s Passing Fallout Brings Brenda Back for Sonny’s Farewell

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Measure C will be on the ballot when the residents of Port Charles cast their vote for the new mayor of Port Charles.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) ensured this in order to take the decision out of her hands and remain impartial as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) would be forced to sell his piers.

It would also become part of the Esplanade that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was planning on building elsewhere, but due to environmental concerns, Drew wants to build the Esplanade on Piers 55 &56, which is owned by Sonny, and home to Corinthos Coffee, a front for Sonny’s illegal activities. If Measure C passes, Sonny’s entire world would change.

Election Day Arrives And Port Charles Makes It’s Choice

Come November, election day will arrive in Port Charles. We will learn who the new mayor of Port Charles is- Laura Collins or Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove).

While one of the biggest choices that Port Charles has to make is whether or not Sonny will have to sell his piers in order to build the Esplanade. Despite Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) attempts to get Sonny to sell the piers to him, Sonny could hold out to vote to take his chances.

However, when Port Charles votes in favor of Measure C, Sonny would have to concede and he would have to sell his piers.

Sonny Corinthos Is Out Of The Mob Business

Now if Measure C passes, and the Esplanade would then be built on Piers 55 &56, Sonny could be forced to live an entirely new life. Sonny would not know how to navigate life without his business, and this would prove to be a huge challenge for him.

Being out of the mob would allow him to focus on his family and make sure that they stay safe. He would have a hard time adjusting to the changes, and it may cause him to appreciate life more.

Sonny may find Measure C passing to be a blessing in disguise, but someone could still see him as a threat and plot against him.

Jenz Sidwell Wants Sonny Corinthos Out Of Port Charles

Even though Measure C has passed, Sidwell could see Sonny as an obstacle for him. He would want Sonny out of Port Charles, and would learn from Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) that there is maybe one person who could usher Sonny out of Port Charles. And that person would be Brenda Barrett (last played by Vanessa Marcil)!

Sidwell could bring Brenda back to usher Sonny out of Port Charles, but Sidwell doesn’t intend for Sonny to ride off into the sunset with Brenda- he actually has sinister plans to kill him before he leaves town for good!

Will Sonny be able to escape with Brenda before Sidwell enacts his deadly plans?!
