ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates revealed that the devious Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could be set to change his evil ways. GH fans know that Peter’s potential change in character and behavior couldn’t come at a better time since his fiancé, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) could be pregnant!
General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Attempts to Break Free
GH fans know that for some time now, Peter August has apparently wished to leave his sordid past behind him. He’s wanted to break free of the evil legacy left to him by his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Yet Peter has found this task most difficult. In fact, GH viewers have watched as Peter has committed crime after crime. For example, Peter is known to have held Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) prisoner for more than five years in a Russian clinic!
That said, GH fans know that even then, Peter’s crimes were all about getting free of his father. To illustrate this, consider the fact that even in the instance with Jason Morgan, Peter was plotting to use Jason to have Cesar Faison killed. (Horrible, but GH fans can see the motivation behind Peter’s actions, can’t they?)
General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Truly Loves Maxie
Some GH fans believe that Peter is simply playing Maxie for a fool. These fans don’t believe that Peter loves Maxie. Instead, he is using Maxie to gain and maintain the appearance of a doting, loving family man. However, other GH viewers disagree. For these fans, it’s absolutely clear that Peter loves Maxie. As a case in point, wasn’t it Peter who delivered Maxie’s son, James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca)? Since then, has Peter treated Maxie and her children with anything but loving-kindness?
More to the point, GH viewers know that Peter has made it abundantly clear that he intends to spend his life with Maxie. Not only did Peter tell Maxie’s ex, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that the two needed to get along since Peter was going to be in Maxie’s life indefinitely, but Peter also (for all intents and purposes) asked Maxie to marry him right in front of his mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Might Find Holly
To truly cement his place among the good guys, Peter probably has to do something drastic. Expressing his undying love to Maxie won’t be enough for many GH fans. That’s because everyone knows that Peter is a smooth talker … but as they say, talk is cheap. That’s why Peter is going to have to do something no one really expects. Peter will have to do something like … find Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) ex-wife, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) alive.
While Peter had planned on using Holly in a nefarious manner to distract Scorpio from investigating Peter’s involvement in the framing of Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gotti), Peter had not planned on having her murdered. Should Peter discover that Holly is actually alive and be the one to heroically bring her back to Scorpio … and possibly have to sacrifice something to do it … his redemption might be all but secured.

I do believe that Peter can redeem himself. It has been unclear all this time as to why Peter has been doing the things he has been doing and who he has been working with. I think that it would be interesting if in the end Peter is the one to find Holly and bring her back to Robert. I have been hoping that Drew could be found too. Franco and Andre are doing alright now. I do believe that Peter can make things right for Sam and Liesl. I know that Peter loves Maxie and will want to be a good husband to her. He will want to be a good father to his child as well. He has already been a good father figure to James. He helped Maxie before James was born and delivered him. Peter has also helped to take care of Georgie. Anna will want to help Peter. I know that she will be happy to find out that she is going to be a grandmother again. I am still hoping that Anna is really Peter’s mother with maybe Robert or Valentin being his father in the end. I have hoped that the situation with Peter will get better so that he can get on the road to redemption. I believe that Peter can be the son that Anna can be proud of and the man that Maxie can trust in to be with and to raise their child together.
No. I don’t think that Peter is capable of redemption. Any more than Nelle is . They think that just because he killed the hit man that he hired to kill Andre, that makes him a saint. Hardly. He is his father’s son. He’s lieing to Maxie & Anna, and they are both dumb enough to believe him. He’s the one who told someone to kill off Holly in the first place. And then lied to Anna, Maxie & Robert; saying that he didn’t know what happened to her, when he is the one who ordered it. Seriously. Wake-up people. He’s a liar.
Nope, he’s done to much already to Franco, Drew, Jason, Sam, Liesl, Robert & no telling who else. Maxie needs to boot him to the curb & raise them kids on her own. She only ended up with him cause she was lonely & still mourning her husband. He’s as fake as they come!!
Peter did not have anything to do with what happened to Holly. He was only going to have her distracted in some way. Peter was very upset when he thought that his people had killed her. Peter is just as much in the dark as to what happened to Holly as Robert and Anna are. Peter did kill the hit man but it must have been a clean shooting or self defense because they did not investigate Peter after it. I know that Anna knows about the connection between David Black and Peter and did not share it. However that would have just been circumstantial at best. The hospital would have had to make sure that the shooting was clean to avoid medical malpractice law suit to be possibly being filed. Peter may not have been telling Maxie and everyone else what he has been doing but the reason is still unclear. It is also not known who Peter is working with or for. I believe that there is more to this situation. Peter is not like his father who cause Anna and everyone that she loved pain for decades. Peter can come through for the ones he loves and who love him. It will be interesting to see what Nelle does in the end of her situation.
Peter has not harmed Franco in any way. He kept him from being killed in the end. Peter also did not do anything to Robert either. Peter did not do anything to Holly. Sam and Jason are free now and they have much more to worry about with Cyrus now. There is no proof that Drew is gone and if Peter really wanted him to be gone then he would have arranged to have a body found. Peter can make it up to Liesl. After all Liesl is the one who kidnapped and nearly killed Peter so maybe this makes them even. Peter has been good with Maxie and her children. He will be good with Maxie and their child too.
No Peter isn’t capable of redemption his pass crimes upon what he did to Jason and held him for captive for over 5 years for starters. And second he has killed the hitman to save himself and he got maxie mother in law kiesel sent off to do timef or his crimes he had did. Peter way over redemption and he will not change he even tried to do away with Robert and all Peter is good at scheming and pinning his wrong doings on other innocent people. And he been playing Anna and Maxie and lying and backstabbing them two. But those wo.en are really blind. Peter and Nelle Benson should be together. Maxie needs someone new like Nathan West or a recast if the real one can’t come back that baby james needs his real daddy or GH can hook maxie up with a newbie or Spinelli he has always had a very genuine relationship and really ca re ws for his maximus
I agree with you NB but after Maxie hears about everything Peter has did she may let him go and have a miscarriage later after hearing all his dirty deeds. she got enough kids on GH she doesn’t No to Peter’s child . Maxie needs Nathan back or a recast so he can see his son james.or a Spinelli or a new man that will be good to her. As I had said in a earlier post Peter would be good with Nelle Benson they’re both con artist and scheamer s.
I believe that Maxie will be upset to find out what Peter has been doing. However I do not believe that she will have a miscarriage. Maxie can have another child. I think that if Liz, Alexis, and Carly can have the children that they have it is more than alright for Maxie to have a baby with Peter. Nathan had a final and strong send off. Spinelli has Ellie. I do not believe that Maxie will need a new man. I believe that in the end Nelle is going to be somewhat redeemed after she finds out that she is Nina’s daughter. I think that a good choice for her would be TJ. I believe that Peter will prove that he is worthy of Maxie and his child in the end.
Peter may have held Jason but he dif not kill him like Faison wanted. He did kill the hitman but he saved Franco and Andre in the end because he cared about Anna. I believe that Liesl will be fine. Peter did not send her to jail for everything that she did to him at first. It is not good that Peter framed Liesl but Liesl has hurt many people in Peter’s family well before she kidnapped and tried to kill him. Peter never tried to kill Robert. It was Valentin who had Robert kidnapped a while ago. Peter can start to open up to Anna and Maxie in time.Then he can be worthy of their love and trust.
Absolutely love Peter and Maxie belong together and they will be okay they are so awesome together my absolute favorite
