General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Confirmed That Faison Is Running The Show Via Nathan’s Mind?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) received a copy of The Crystalline Conspiracy, by P.K. Sinclair, along with her dungeon dinner.

Someone wanted to give her a little light reading, so why did she panic and throw the book across the room? Let’s break down Anna’s response to the tome written in alias by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)!

Anna’s Horror

The book had a handwritten inscription for a “muse” and signed with “C.” Additionally, in the same episode Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) threatened Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) about Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) being Faison’s son.

His other son is dead Peter August (Wes Ramsey) another PC terrorist. Pair this with an image of a brain on a computer in dead Professor Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab and the pieces are starting to come together in this ongoing back from the dead, is he or isn’t he plotline.

Is Faison Sentient?

All of this makes the rumors of dead Faison somehow being sentient more real. Is evil Faison calling the shots from an eerily suspended netherworld? Definitely maybe!

Nathan’s sudden come back from the dead has not been properly explained, and more and more this seems to be on purpose, not just sloppy storytelling.

Even Nathan is totally disinterested in what happened to him for seven long years before his awakening.

Is Nathan Benign or Not?

Enter Jack, at Lulu’s house pointing out the weirdness of Nathan’s miraculous return. The intimation the show seems to be making is that Faison’s mind is inside Nathan, running the show.

GH has a history of out of this world storytelling, from Casey the Space Alien to the extensive use of memory-mapping elements.

What Happens Next in PC?

If we surmise that Faison is inside Nathan, the next logical question becomes how aware and complicit is Nathan? He could be a sleeper agent waiting for the right moment to unleash Faison’s final project that has been frequently talked about.

Or, is Nathan an unlucky mental hostage, controlled by evil-doers who mean to do PC harm?
Faison is a classic villain and we are all for bringing back the evil genius in a suspenseful plot worthy of GH’s historical sci-fi storytelling.
