B&B and Y&R Film Production Update: Post-Quarantine Haircuts and Preliminary Testing

The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless could be back to work very soon! One actor took to Instagram to show off that he is getting his first haircut since going into quarantine. Plus, there is a report that CBS will be doing preliminary testing later this month. Keep reading to get the details.

Memo To Cast and Crew

Last month, it was reported that B&B and Y&R could return to filming in June. Deadline reported that the cast and crew received a memo. It stated that restrictions were being eased and they could be getting back to work soon. It revealed show bosses were targeting June to get back to production, but that date was not set in stone.

22-Page Document Sent To Governors

More recently, a 22-page document was sent to California and New York governors. It listed the safety protocols that would be put in place for film production to resume. This includes everything from social distancing, periodic testing, cleaning, and more.

The Young and the Restless: Post-Quarantine Haircut

On Twitter, Y&R star Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) shared on Twitter that he was getting his first haircut since entering quarantine. This is a good sign because what other reason would one have to get a haircut unless they were getting ready to go back to work?

The Bold and the Beautiful: Preliminary Testing

According to Soaps.com, there is word swirling around the Internet that the cast and crew of both Y&R and B&B received follow-up calls. The subject reportedly has to do with preliminary testing so everyone can get back to work. The target date is just over two weeks from now. In that document, one of the safety measures was everyone getting tested before going back to work, as well as regular testing afterward.
