Clearly, we are talking about Meghan Markle as it seems like her PR blitz this past week fell flat and there’s a good reason for it.

The Duchess of Sussex was on hand for the Fifteen Percent gala, despite the fact that the royal family is dealing with one of the worst scandals they’ve seen in their history, thanks to Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, and the DOJ’s investigation on Jeffrey Epstein.

And while there’s no doubt that Meghan looked beautiful in a sparkling floor-length gown, no one even really noticed her. Not only that, but she didn’t get much press coverage and if that weren’t enough, her name didn’t even appear on the Fifteen Percent gala.

For Meghan Markle, she’s got more than just one reason to be upset. She was hoping to have the spotlight on her just to show the world that she’s unbothered with everything that is going on back in the UK and behind closed doors at the palace.

What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?

But it seems like her strategy might have backfired on her, because the world showed Meghan that they simply don’t care to see her make public appearances anymore. She just doesn’t have the same star power that she used to have, to put it simply, and it shows.

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.

After all, if there’s anything that Meghan doesn’t want to do at the moment, it’s to generate more negative headlines than she needs to.

That’s why she would rather just hold her head down for now, pretend like none of this happened, and move on in the hopes that she can finally get the positive press that she not only needs, but deserves, too. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
