Compared to former Prince Andrew and other European cases, the approach to the Jeffrey Epstein fallout Stateside often looks underwhelming. There, a series of quiet resignations and financial transfers happened.
However, recent news suggests that it won’t end with that sort of thing and more pressure comes along for tangible results. Read on for recent details.
Wyden Amps Up Pressure
Two days ago, the US Senate Committee on Finance reported about Senator Ron Wyden. According to the report, Wyden publicly challenged the Department of Justice over a long-hidden document. The website noted:
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche recently intervened to block the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) from releasing a key document related to a long-secret investigation of drug trafficking and prostitution by Jeffrey Epstein and several associates.
Unhappy about that, Wyden accused Todd Blanche of deliberately blocking the release of a 2015 document that allegedly outlined “Operation Chain Reaction.”
UK vs USA
Over in the UK, law enforcement follows up by pursuing criminal action against people like former Prince Andrew and Lord Peter Mandelson. Interestingly, King Charles recently referred to the disgraced Duke of York as “Mountbatten-Windsor.”
Of course, that might seem trivial, but it definitely shows the palace distances itself from Andrew as he potentially faces a prison sentence.

However, it looks like corruption and bureaucracy in the USA might be getting chipped away now. It might not be as dramatic as the arrests of high-profile figures in the UK, but the focus does at least move toward who helped Jeffrey Epstein stay in business: especially after his 2008 sex offender conviction.
Keeping A Distance
Taking about distancing, it happens Stateside as well. Another report from March 19 by KSAT noted that “Epstein’s attorney, Darren Indyke, testified before a House committee.” Okay, no surprise, he claimed he “wasn’t aware of any abuse” during those years.
Naturally, that brought skepticism and probably a lot of silent snorting. Mind you, as the outlet noted, he isn’t the first person with selective memory loss. They also mentioned:
Other associates of Epstein, including his former accountant Richard Kahn…Les Wexner, and former President Bill Clinton…also told the committee in sworn depositions that they didn’t know about Epstein’s abuse.
New Mexico News
Other developments in the US relate to New Mexico, where state officials currently go over photos that came in from tipsters. Per AlJazeera, apparently, they show what might be “grave-like plots” at Epstein’s old Zorro Ranch property. So, that investigation which is active might add other clues as to who knew what the heck was going on.
Interestingly, it’s the first time that anyone heard about them. Notably, they don’t seem to have been mentioned in the recent Jeffrey Epstein File drop. Apparently, the news came to light via a “tipster who broke into Epstein’s former ranch in 2020 and came across multiple plots that were dug up.”
Whoever that person is forwarded them to “Democratic Representatives Andrea Romero and Marianna Anaya.” But, it does seem that if there were bodies there, they were removed.
Getting Closer To Criminal Liabilty?
While the New Mexico angle might not help with more transparency in the USA, recent news seems to move beyond interest in apologists like Bill Gates and Thomas Pritzker.
There’s a probability now, that the interest by Congress regarding the DEA’s 2015 files means wealthy folks might not fully dodge future revelations.
If “Operation Chain Reaction” ends up in the press, then 14 associates mentioned could move things away from lawsuits and resignations. And, that might lead to similar actions taken in the UK with criminal conspiracy.
