‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, April 9: Sheila’s Promise, Hope’s Defense, Taylor Ambushed

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, April 9, 2026. In today’s episode, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) makes a promise.

Meanwhile, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) defends Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Taylor Hayes Ambushed

At the cliffhouse, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) continues dealing with her family. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) try to reason with her.

All bets are off now the one and only person who Sheila counted on is gone. Ridge says it’s all on Deacon. Taylor defends her man. 

Hope Logan Spencer’s Defense

Hope arrives and asks if they have heard from Deacon. Steffy explains that Sheila knows the truth. They all debate on whose fault this is. Taylor says she wants to be with Deacon.

Hope is worried about her father. Hope and Taylor want to see if he’s okay, but everyone else says no. Hope reasons that Deacon deserves someone better than Sheila. 

Ridge is sorry if going back to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pushed Taylor towards Deacon. Taylor wanted to be in Deacon’s arms. She also wants to stay there. 

Deacon Sharpe’s Apology

At the apartment, Sheila is surprised Deacon is still there. Deacon apologizes. Sheila apologizes too, but for believing Taylor was helping her. Deacon says the blame is all on him.

Sheila says they can still have a marriage. Things were wonderful until Taylor seduced him. Sheila didn’t give into her impulses, that proves she’s a changed woman. 

Deacon can see she’s changed and he is proud. He wants the best for Sheila, but he’s in love with Taylor. She admits it was a miracle that he even fell for her in the first place. She doesn’t want that to end.

Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Promise

She can’t handle this. She leaves before she does something she’ll regret. Sheila can see that Deacon truly loves Taylor, and that he sees her as a monster.

Deacon doesn’t want her back in prison. He begs Sheila not to target anyone. Sheila swears she won’t hurt anyone. She’ll accept his decision no matter how much it hurts. 

Sheila will send for her things. She kisses him and leaves the apartment. Now at the bar area, Sheila thinks about their wedding and love story.

Looking around at the bar, she declares this isn’t over. With a determined look in her eyes and a confident stance, Sheila then walks out of Il Giardino.
