Ami Brown: Alaskan Bush People Star In ‘Bad Shape’ Following Hospitalization

Alaskan Bush People (ABP) star Ami Brown survived a serious bout of pneumonia just over a year ago. Unfortunately, she is back in the same hospital that treated her before, and according to her son, Bear Brown, she is in a bad way. Read on for the details.

The New Hospitalization

Last year, as is usual with the Discovery Channel alums, news came from various siblings. And it was Birdie Brown who told fans that her mom ended up being placed on breathing assistance after transferring from a local hospital.

This time, Bear broke the news on Instagram. In his initial video, he said that he’d gotten word that his “siblings” were taking his mom to “a hospital.” Then, he reminded folks that it seemed very worrying because last year, they “almost lost mom.”

There, he confirmed that Ami Brown “is in bad shape at the moment.” So, he said the doctors want to “take her to a larger hospital.” Additionally, he confirmed that his “mom has pneumonia again.”

Making it worse, it seems that Ami also tested positive “for COVID.” The video that arrived 15 hours before the time of writing this, suggested that the transfer hadn’t happened yet as the larger hospital waits for a “room to open up.”

In the comments on the TikTok update, some Discovery Channel fans seemed confused about when the video was made. Probably, that’s because Ami Brown ended up in hospital with pneumonia multiple times over the last few years.

Meanwhile, many followers told Bear Brown that they will keep on praying for Ami’s recovery. One of them penned,“Aw Bear I’m sending Love and and Healing Positive Prayers . I love you all.”

That last comment might not be correct. In fact, during the colder months, it’s seldom that Ami Brown lives up on the mountain. Instead, she sometimes moves into a nearby town.
