General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane’s On Her Way Back – Rescued, Or Escaped?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal that Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) on her way back to Port Charles, according to an X post by Chris McKenna a few days ago.

But how will she make her way back home after all she’s been put through-will she be rescued, or will she escape?

Anna Escaped During Transport In France After Being Removed From Wyndemere

Anna escaped during transport in France, after being removed from Wyndemere-likely by Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) or perhaps, by Pascal (Marc Forget) on Cullum’s orders.

Cullum had been terrorizing Anna by impersonating Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and also drugging her with some kind of hypnotic.

He was capitalizing on Anna’s very real fear-at least to her-of Faison being alive, opposed to all reason, even seeing him dead in the morgue.

So if instead of being rescued from the psychiatric hospital in France, it would be no surprise to anyone if somehow, she was able to escape!

Whether driven by irrational fear or driven by desperation to save others, Anna has what it takes to escape-as long as she’s not drugged!

Anna May Fake Taking Medications

Even though this psychiatric hospital was one Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) knew of and recommended, it doesn’t mean that Cullum or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) don’t have plants there.

After all, Sidwell just told Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) he knew Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) lived in a lovely little cottage in France!

If there are eyes on them, then there are eyes on Anna, and that may be exactly the reason that Emma and Robin Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner, Kimberly McCullough) weren’t allowed to visit.

If Anna is planning an escape, then she will probably fake taking medications-spitting them out secretly, provided she’s not being injected; never underestimate a desperate Anna, she may pull off a breakout!

Anna May Also Be Rescued-The “Mission” Debunked By Brennan And Others

On the other hand, Anna may also be rescued, now that the “mission” has been debunked by Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and others. Even though Brennan was instrumental in forcing Anna out of the WSB, he now knows Cullum is dirty-and behind the disappearance of Anna.

And then, there’s Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart); Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) found Faison’s book and Faison’s favorite cigarillos in Cullum’s coat pockets during the blizzard.

Brennan’s response was to pull Josslyn out as an active agent, but she’s kept on investigating anyway; he didn’t make the connection to Faison other than Cullum’s an expert.

But Valentin, when Josslyn tells him the whole truth about finding the Crystalline Conspiracy and cigarillos in Cullum’s coat pockets, will freak, and a mission to take down Brennan may turn into a joint mission to rescue Anna!
