General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) see a sad truth.
When he learns the truth about everything Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has been doing to not only Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) but her mother, he’ll realize she needs some mental help!
Willow’s Headed For Shadybrook Whether She Knows It Or Not
Willow’s headed for Shadybrook whether she knows it or not, because she’s not driven by being a good mother to her children, or even now a good public servant.
She’s driven by a sick obsession over her children, which is why she does extreme things to keep them.
Now her obsession has shifted from hero worship of Drew, and earlier, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to being the hero-to her kids!
Willow’s self-righteousness is sickness and obsessive control, which usually stems from someone who’s out of control! People who are out of control on the inside tend to try to control everything that’s on their outside!
Willow’s Framed Her Own Mother For Her Crime, And Drew’s Helpless
Whatever Valentin and Drew might think of each other isn’t important right now-Valentin knows Drew’s got some problems too, because he remembers when they worked together on Cassadine Island.
The two of them had worked together to free Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had her captive, at least once they figured out how to stop Drew’s programming.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was working with them too to free Liesl, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) from the island.
Drew now and Drew then don’t seem like the same person-even after he and Jason figured out Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was controlling Drew with a certain tarot card.
Valentin doesn’t like what Drew turned into after his stint in Pentonville while Valentin was on the run, but that doesn’t make his abuse by his wife right!
Whether Willow Is Committed Or Pleads Insanity To A Proven Crime, She Needs Help
Whether Willow is committed, proven a danger to others, or she eventually pleads insanity to a proven crime, Valentin tells Nina the outcome is the same.
When someone is so obsessed with controlling an outcome that they frame their loved ones to ensure it, that is just plain sick, and Valentin helps Nina to see that.
Proving it, however, may prove more difficult than anyone would realize, unless somehow, Drew winds up a hero again when his tongue is again loosed!
Valentin tells Nina that what will need to happen is for Drew’s injectable “medication” to be swapped. Then Drew himself can testify that Nina was tricked and set up by her own daughter, and then they can have Willow committed!
