General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) back in Port Charles, one of Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) secrets could come back to haunt her.
Several years ago, Selina blackmailed Britt with a secret crime she committed with her father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), when they were on the run. Might she threaten to expose it again?
Key Takeaways
- Selina returns to Port Charles.
- Britt’s past could haunt her.
- Brad may not protect Britt.
- Faison’s secret crime remains hidden.
- Selina could blackmail Britt again.
Brad Cooper Isn’t Besties With Britt Anymore, And He Won’t Protect Her
It seems Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) isn’t besties with Britt anymore, and he won’t protect her from his aunt Selina’s actions.
They haven’t seen each other for over a year, since the late Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) came to town, and Brad hoped to win Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) back.
But now, Britt and Lucas are better friends—or at least not enemies, maybe frenemies—than she and Brad.
The last time Brad and Britt spent time together, they got kicked out of Café Cherie for nonpayment of a very fancy and expensive meal!
This time, when he showed up at the auction for the Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) properties, he didn’t even call her.
Selina’s return could mean trouble for more than just Britt, especially since Selina may also have her sights set on Sonny’s former mob territory.
What Might Selina Know?
One huge question is, what might Selina know? It was something that Britt never wanted exposed, and whatever the crime was, she and her father apparently committed it together.
Britt never wanted that to come out, and as far as anyone knows, it never has.
One thing we can say is what it’s likely not.
She may or may not have met her secret brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) back then and known of him. But she wasn’t the one who stole him and gave him to their father.
That was all on their aunt, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), who also sold Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) twins, whom she gave birth to while in a coma.
So whatever Selina knows, it had nothing to do with Cassius, and apparently, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) doesn’t know about it either.
Of course, Britt has already faced some difficult questions from Liesl about Cassius, so another secret coming out could make things even worse.
Britt May Have Only Been An Accessory, Due To Being With Cesar At The Time
Britt may have only been an accessory due to being with Cesar at the time, even though Selina implied Britt had a hand in the secret crime as well.
Whether Selina brings this secret crime up again to blackmail Britt depends on whether she needs to in order to force her to do or say something to someone.
Whatever this secret crime is, it’s probably something Britt will take to her grave—and apparently, it isn’t something with a statute of limitations.
When Selina blackmailed her with it the last time, it had already been several years since Britt went on the run with her father, shortly after Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was born.
Could it have been a murder or something else really heinous? With Faison, you never know!
Britt has certainly had her share of dangerous secrets, including her involvement in Cassius’ deception, which could have consequences of its own.
Annemarie’s Take
Britt has enough problems without Selina Wu digging up another secret from her past!
I wouldn’t put anything past Selina, especially if she thinks she can use Britt to get what she wants. And with Brad and Britt no longer as close as they once were, who is going to protect her?
I’m curious to know what Britt and Faison did that was so terrible she never wanted anyone to find out!
