General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) could soon have a shocking encounter with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) lookalike Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)!
Since Liesl knew Faison when he was Cullum’s age, she’ll quickly solve the Faison impersonator puzzle!
Cullum And Faison Could Be Brothers, Or Possibly Father And Son
Cullum looks so much like Faison at his age, they could easily be brothers-or even father and son, if Cesar fathered him when he was in his early twenties.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made the connection that Cullum was directly responsible for driving Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) crazy, but perhaps he’s never seen him either.
Liesl was extremely upset by Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) suspicions that “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) was impersonating Cesar, and told Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about it.
If Cullum is a Faison relative, he’s not one Liesl is aware of-she only knew of Heinrich Faison aka Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Cullum could have even raised Cassius.
But she’s never seen Cullum in person-so encountering the double agent unexpectedly will be a shocking experience for her-she’ll see the resemblance immediately!
Valentin Made The Connection Because Of The Novel And Cigarillos
Valentin made the connection because Josslyn told him she found Faison’s novel, “The Crystalline Conspiracy” signed, “to my Muse, C” and cigarillos in Cullum’s coat pocket.
This was when she was snowed in with him at Wyndemere and he pretended to be a caretaker named Matthew; but she never saw Faison when he was young like Liesl did.
Liesl seeing Cullum in the flesh will likely have the same effect on her as it did Anna, only it won’t drive her insane.
However, she certainly will be shocked, and she may have some flashbacks to her younger Faison-obsessed days; but while painful and full of rejection, she was never kidnapped or held captive.
Anna had a different experience, being terrorized by Faison-Liesl will understand completely what happened, and know the Cesar near doppelganger was responsible!
Cullum May Just Have Met His Match With Liesl, Who Faison Couldn’t Scare Off!
Cullum may just met his match with Liesl, who Faison couldn’t scare off-she just simply wised up although even after she gave Nathan to her sister to raise, she still chased after Faison.
However, she never grieved him when he died-she was too busy grieving Nathan, who he killed-or so it seemed at the time, although what happened to his body’s still a mystery. But undoubtedly, after the initial shock of thinking she’s stepped back in time, she’ll call Cullum to task!
She’ll demand answers from this lookalike as to who he is and where he came from, and more importantly, is Cullum really a Faison?
Liesl Obrecht may be the most powerful weapon anyone has to take Cullum down-she won’t be intimidated by this pale imitation of Cesar!
