‘General Hospital’ Recap Friday, May 1: Britt Warned Cassius, Jack Busted Carly & Josslyn Panics

General Hospital recaps for Friday, May 1 reveal Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) warned Cassius Faison, (Ryan Paevey) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) cheered Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) up.

  Plus, after a visit to Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) busted Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)!

Britt Warned Cassius

Cassius was angry that Britt had known since the Five Poppies that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was a WSB agent and never told him.

Britt pleaded with him not to reveal Josslyn’s secret because she wasn’t a danger to them, explaining that she had been inquiring about their father, not him specifically.

Remembering the strange questions Josslyn had asked him at the gym, Cassius felt sure that she suspected something was wrong with him.

Britt suggested that Cassius steer clear of Josslyn and keep pretending to be Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), worrying that they were so close to finishing the project and couldn’t let Josslyn ruin it for them. Cassius insisted that she wouldn’t.

“Nathan” Went To Confront Josslyn

Meanwhile, Josslyn completely forgot that Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) friend, Michael James Scott, was performing at The Savoy until Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) reminded her.

Saying she needed to study for finals, Joss promised to join the group later, and Trina went to the club. However, before Josslyn could leave to investigate more about “Nathan,” the man himself appeared.

“Nathan” asked if she still wanted to be workout partners, and Josslyn apologized repeatedly for making things awkward at the gym when she mentioned Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Cassius Wouldn’t Let Josslyn Leave

Joss told him she talked to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about him, and his sister thought she had a crush on him.

She was happy for him and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening)  but surprised he hadn’t gotten back with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), given their past.

“Nathan” said they both moved on but had good memories, and then Josslyn tested him.

She said Nina shared the story of the Fourth of July when he and Maxie were handcuffed and how he started seeing her differently.

“Nathan” clearly didn’t remember, but Joss brushed it off-she tried to leave to go run before it got late, but  Cassius grabbed her arm and said, “It’s already too late.”

Brick Cheered Jordan Up

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) suggested skipping The Savoy, but Jordan persuaded him to go for Trina’s benefit.

After he departed, she felt a bit down, but a visit from her self-proclaimed “not-so-secret admirer,” Brick, who brought flowers, lifted her spirits.

He even made her laugh by recounting a tale from one of his recent escapades. Then, Brick proposed taking her on a tropical getaway once she was discharged from the hospital, but Jordan reminded him that she was now serious with Curtis.

Brick had to leave due to a work call, but he encouraged Jordan with a pep talk about his belief in her recovery, which made her smile.

Jack Asked Sonny A Bunch Of Questions About Carly

At Sonny’s office at Pozzulo’s, Jack accused Sonny of pressuring Carly to leave him, but Sonny laughed, saying that any issues in their relationship were not his fault.

Trying to take back his words, Jack insisted he never claimed he and Carly were having problems, but Sonny pointed out that Jack thought Carly was being dishonest with him about something.

Jack said he was only worried because Carly had been struggling ever since Jason was arrested.

This led Sonny to mention that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wouldn’t have shot Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) without a valid reason.

Jack remarked that Britt identifying Jason as Cullum’s shooter was enough for the WSB to imprison him for life, but Sonny argued that his friend deserved a fair trial.

Sonny Sought Out Britt After Jack Left

“Yeah, I wouldn’t count on that,” Jack said before leaving. After talking to Jack, Sonny visited Britt’s office and told her he had found out Jason’s location (a WSB black site in Jakarta) from Brennan.

He asked Britt about the shooting at the pier, pointing out that it was messier than Jason’s usual style. Britt kept quiet about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and let Sonny think that Jason was protecting her.

Sonny promised to look out for Britt and offered his assistance if she ever needed it.

The Savoy Crowd Was Ready For The Show

The Savoy was alive with excitement for Michael James Scott’s show; Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) expressed gratitude to Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) for the invite.  

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) shared a touching moment with Gio as he recounted his trip to New York City with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

She expressed how proud the family was of him during his summer in Aladdin.

Brook Lynn became anxious when Chase, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) discussed the investigation into Jordan’s accident.

Chase speculated if the other driver didn’t stop due to hiding something; frustrated, Brook Lynn interrupted, asking them to change the subject, reminding everyone they were there to enjoy themselves.

Trina Talked With Cody And Brook Lynn

Later, Trina met Cody and Brook Lynn, who offered to connect her with music executives-she promised to think it over, then told Kai Taylor, (Jens Austin Astrup)  Gio, and Emma about the offer.

They encouraged her to pursue music. Meanwhile, Cody noticed Brook Lynn’s ‘Camp Martha look,’ reminding her she looked the same when she asked him for a ride to the bus stop years ago when she was secretly pregnant with Gio.

Brook Lynn said she was just tired and worried about baby Phoebe. Cody told her she could talk to him about anything.

Brook Lynn Got Nervous Over Curtis’ Crash Questions, Cody And Molly Talked About TJ

Curtis approached Brook Lynn, making her nervous when he said he was relying on the PCPD to find the other driver.

She got even more anxious when he mentioned that Jordan could have died due to the delay since the other driver didn’t stop to help.

After Curtis updated them on Jordan, Cody and Molly talked about her long relationship with TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow).

She said things got awkward with Jordan after the breakup, so Cody suggested she contact TJ’s mom.

Then, Molly received an email from her editor about book tour dates and was excited that Cody would join her on the trip.

Valentin And Carly Had A Fight

At her residence, Carly and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) engaged in playful flirting while he prepared dinner.

However, their light-hearted banter regarding his phone call to the clinic to inquire about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) quickly escalated into a heated argument about the stagnation of their scheme to take down Jack.

In a fit of frustration, Valentin stormed up to the attic, yet neither could ignore the undeniable chemistry between them and instinctively sought each other out.

After expressing their fears about the uncertain future that awaited them, Carly and Valentin found themselves making love once more.

Jack Busted Carly

In the meantime, Jack deduced from his discussion with Sonny that Carly was not involved in an affair with her former partner, yet he remained wary of his girlfriend.

When he broke into Carly’s home, he was struck by the disarray of the kitchen, particularly the two wine glasses that Carly and Valentin had carelessly left behind. Furious, he made his way upstairs.

Bursting into the bedroom, Jack discovered Carly lying alone in bed undressed. But his eyes quickly caught sight of a man’s clothing; “Where is he?” he demanded, his voice laced with anger.
