Lucas Warned Carly
Sensing Carly’s distress when he entered her home, Lucas teased his sister about her secret boyfriend.
Aware that Carly was attracted to risky men, Lucas urged her to end the relationship, expressing his fear of losing her after the recent loss of Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
Carly maintained that although her secret partner was dangerous, he also kept her safe.
Lucas pondered what Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) would do if he found out she was unfaithful, and Carly assured him she would manage the situation with her mystery man’s help.
Not convinced, Lucas cautioned that Jack had the means to destroy her life, but Carly insisted she would ensure Jack never discovered the truth.

Ethan Kept An Eye On Lucy
At the Metro Court Gardens, Ethan briefly observed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) as she interrupted Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) date, engaging in a dispute with Ava.
When Jenz stepped away, Lucy teased Ava about who was a better match for him. Just as Lucy had anticipated, Ava sighed and said she would talk to Jenz about leaving Deception.
Once Jenz returned, Lucy inquired about a large shipment of zincite crystal that had arrived at Deception.
But before he could answer, Ava interrupted, stating that he shouldn’t have to discuss work during his free time.

Sonny Tested Ethan
In the office at Pozzulo’s, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) expressed his worries to Sonny that Ethan might be swayed by Sidwell.
He proposed that his brother test their new employee by offering him money to leave town.
Ethan then came in to say he had spotted Lucy with Ava Jerome and Sidwell at the Metro Court Gardens, and the atmosphere was tense.
When Ric asked why Sonny was following Lucy, Sonny emphasized that Lucy was planning to betray Sidwell and exclude him from Deception for Ethan’s sake.
After Ric departed, Sonny offered Ethan to leave town in exchange for cash and Ethan refused, realizing that Sonny was trying to test him; stating that he trusted Ethan, Sonny gave him more tasks.

Josslyn Tipped Off Brennan To Carly Cheating On Him
In Jack’s room at the Metro Court, Josslyn revealed a shocking truth: her mother was involved with someone else.
Jack accused Josslyn of attempting to create a rift between him and Carly, especially since he had demoted her to a lesser role, but Josslyn fired back.
She told him that her mother had never truly forgiven him for allowing her to get too close to Vaughn (Bryce Durfee).
She also mentioned Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) arrest by the WSB as another act of betrayal.
Trying to mask his discomfort, Jack demanded proof from Josslyn that Carly was indeed having an affair.
Josslyn Didn’t Admit To Knowing The Name Of Carly’s Lover
Josslyn admitted she didn’t know the name of the other man, yet she made a compelling case for her theory by highlighting the recent shifts in her mother’s behavior.
After Josslyn departed, Jack pondered his relationship with Carly, recalling instances when he had caught her in what seemed like harmless lies.
Coming to the realization that Josslyn might be onto something, Jack decided to visit Sonny at the restaurant, inquiring if Sonny had noticed Carly lying lately.
Sonny, sensing Jack’s jealousy, chuckled and suggested that perhaps Carly had finally realized that Brennan was trouble.

Ric Went To The Metro Court And Ethan Observed While Hiding, And Became Suspicious
Back at the Metro Court Gardens, Ric made his way over to the table where Lucy, Jenz, and Ava were seated.
Then, he discreetly pulled Ava aside for a private conversation.
Meanwhile, Ethan had returned to the restaurant and, noticing Ric and Ava engaged in conversation, he hid behind a wall, feeling a sense of suspicion creeping in.
At the same time, Lucy proposed to take Deception off Sidwell’s hands, but he firmly indicated that he had no desire to sever ties with the cosmetics company.
No doubt Ethan was as suspicious of Ric as Ric is suspicious of him. Ethan continued to hide and observed from behind the wall.

Liesl Planned A Party To Celebrate James’ Success
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) gathered ”Nathan”, Britt, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at the Crimson office to plan a party for James West’s (Gary James Fuller) karate achievement.
She wanted her grandson to create more memories with his father, but once alone with Britt, Liesl mentioned that Josslyn had been asking about Nathan and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
She also told her about Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) asking her to go to France to convince Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that her hallucinations about Cesar were false.
Both of those news flashes worried Britt, especially when Liesl said Josslyn hinted that Nathan’s death and return were suspicious.
As Liesl praised the miracle of Nathan’s return, Britt realized Josslyn might suspect Cassius is an impostor.

Josslyn Headed To Crimson To Question Nina
After parting ways with Jack, Josslyn headed to Crimson to further her own investigation into Nathan.
Pretending to want Nathan as her regular workout partner, Joss probed Nina for details about her brother.
Nina thought Joss had feelings for him, so Joss insisted she would never interfere between Nathan and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
But Josslyn mentioned she was surprised Nathan didn’t get back together with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) when she woke up from her coma.
Nina defended Nathan, claiming he had nobly stepped back to avoid disrupting the life Maxie had built with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Joss Wanted More Details About Nathan And Maxie’s Love Story
Joss wanted details about the romantic journey of Maxie and Nathan, and Nina recounted the amusing incident of Nathan and Maxie being handcuffed together during the Fourth of July celebrations.
Nina pointed out that this particular event marked a significant turning point in their relationship, transforming them from mere friends into something much deeper.
“You should witness the expression in my brother’s eyes when he narrates that story,” Nina exclaimed with enthusiasm.
This revealed her belief that Nathan had always harbored feelings for Maxie and would continue to do so indefinitely.
Joss appeared to mentally note this intriguing information, planning to later question “Nathan” about it.

Britt Busted Josslyn To Cassius
Britt called Cassius into her office, where she cautioned her brother that someone had been inquiring about him.
Cassius responded to Britt by saying he was aware it was Josslyn and recounted their meeting at the gym, firmly asserting that he had managed the situation.
Britt retorted that his entire disguise depended on people believing Nathan had mysteriously returned without any memory, but that illusion was on the verge of collapsing.
Cassius dismissed her worries with a shrug, mocking the idea that he should be concerned since Josslyn was merely a silly sorority girl.
Britt shot back, insisting he ought to be alarmed, as Josslyn was, in fact, a WSB agent!
