The Young and the Restless Spoiler: Nate Hastings’ Shocking New Love Interest Is [Spoiler]

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has been unlucky in love lately, going from girl to girl, with no real romantic future. Is the CBS soap trying to set him up with a shocking new love interest? Here’s what we know.

Nate Hastings’ Failed Romances

The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Nate’s had a rocky road in the romance department.

He had a good thing going with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) until she crashed the party via her partnership with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and her scheme to seduce Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Then, his friendship with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) seemed to be blossoming into a romantic reunion.

However, when he found out she knew that Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) kidnapping was a fake-out, things turned sour between them and fast.

Nate recently had an interesting scene with Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) at the GCAC.

While Stephanie is away in New York, helping Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) with his bone marrow surgery, Fox has promised Stephanie is slated to return to GC and there will be some surprising moments ahead for the character. Was she teasing at a romance?

Chemistry Test?

Now, there’s an age difference between Nate and Stephanie. After all, what sparked their conversation at the GCAC was the fact that Stephanie is a long-time friend of Nate’s mom, Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams). Plus, Stephanie has a son Nate’s age … Holden Novak (Nathan Owens)!

Still, the age gap is no different than Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) dating all the older men she’s been interested in, including Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at one point! Not to mention Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) romance with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), right?!

Was their recent scene just a filler or an opportunity to “chemistry test” the duo? Not only would the twosome potentially sizzle, but the dynamics of their relationship (with Olivia being friends with Stephanie, and Nate possibly bonding with Holden over Malcolm) would add to the drama, and controversy!
