General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of June 1 tease Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) gets a request for help, while Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) continues to scheme!
Plus, as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) demands answers, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) tries a new escape strategy.
5 Key Takeaways
- Laura and Sonny recruit Lucas to help turn Pascal against Sidwell in a risky takedown mission.
- Michael secretly plots to push Chase and Willow back together, convinced they still have unresolved feelings.
- Tracy catches Chase and Willow in a suspiciously intimate moment at the boathouse and immediately explodes.
- Carly panics after realizing Josslyn may have been kidnapped rather than sent away on a mission.
- Josslyn uses Anna’s hidden tools to launch a bold new escape attempt from the secret Wyndemere cell.
Lucas’ Request For Help
Laura reaches out to Lucas for help in their plot to stop Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) which involves turning Pascal Leveque (Marc Forget) against him.
Laura and Sonny talk to Lucas, and he looks on with concern and interest as Laura tells him “we need your help”. Sonny explains “We’re going to stop Sidwell” as a shot of Sidwell’s face flashes across the screen.
Sidwell will be blindsided in Tuesday’s episode, so something will happen that he’s absolutely not expecting at all!
Sidwell isn’t the easiest person to con, so they hope to play on Pascal’s weaknesses to use him as a weapon against his boss!
DAILY POLL
Michael Continues To Scheme
Michael continues to scheme, as he talks to Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) about his plot to push Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) together.
Longtime General Hospital fans will remember when Willow first came to town as Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Aiden Webber’s (Colin Cassidy) third grade teacher, she and Chase were involved.
Michael’s banking on the two never having gotten over each other. He tells Jacinda, “They’ll cross the line, and when they do, they’ll blow the whole thing!
Tracy Sees Something She Doesn’t Like!
Chase and Willow are shown at the boathouse on the deck, both in swimwear.
There is a look of connection on their face as their body language implies they’re lovers.
Just then, an angry looking Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) walks by and sees them just as Willow strokes Chase’s arm and they appear to be moving closer!
Tracy will tear into Chase and they’ll get into quite the argument-it’s doubtful Tracy will think Chase’s explanations are anything but lame excuses to cheat on his wife.
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase, (Amanda Setton) she’ll likely tear into Willow at some point, sooner or later-Willow can’t say she wasn’t warned!
Carly Demands Answers
Elsewhere, Carly demands answers, and it’s likely Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) she’s talking to as she says, “Josslyn would never leave without saying goodbye! Someone took her!”
It seems to have taken a long time for Carly to come to that conclusion, even though Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) didn’t know anything about it.
But now they can’t grill Jack, since he’s being drugged-or he’s faking the effects of the “locked in shot”.
Josslyn has been missing for at least a couple of weeks and the assumption was she was sent off on a secret mission-the same tale as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was given.
Josslyn’s New Escape Strategy
As for Josslyn, it looks like she is making good use of the homemade tools Anna left hidden in the bed in the secret cell underneath Wyndemere.
This is probably down the hall from the lab where Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had been forced to work on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final cold fusion project.
She is fiddling with the wiring to the lamp that hangs overhead, and apparently she shorts out the electricity to the room, including the electronic door, which she opens!
Will Josslyn escape, or will Pascal or “Not Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) catch her?
It looks like it’s a big wait and see what happens, so stay tuned!
