General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that jailed Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will plead with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in an upcoming episode of the ABC soap.
Britt’s Huntington’s meds that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) sent to her in the British Virgin Islands got to her, but she didn’t get to take them; can Dante get her meds?
Dante Explained He Had Her Arrested For Her Own Protection
Dante explained to Britt in the episode that aired on Friday, July 3 that he had her arrested for her own protection from Ross Cullum, (Andrew Hawkes) who is now dead.
Since it was a police bust, probably all she had with her, plus the meds, would have gone into evidence, although it’s clear that she was allowed a few changes of clothes.
She was wearing a sundress when she was arrested, and by the time she was in the PCPD holding cell, she was in a shirt and jeans, not in a jail uniform.
So there are a few special favors, although Dante explained he couldn’t release her, that was up to the WSB.
There’s A Good Chance The Meds Are In The WSB’s Hands As Well
There’s a very good chance that the meds are in the WSB’s hands as well, although they could be in PCPD evidence-of course, neither her or anyone else in Tortola had any idea they were poisoned.
Cassius himself didn’t even find that out until right before Cullum shot and presumably killed him, and was killed himself, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) probably heard it.
Cullum taunted Cassius with the whole story of how Britt’s Huntington’s diagnosis had been faked to force her to work on their father’s final project, a cold fusion weapon Cullum was trying to flee with.
He also told him that the ones he stole from the safe at Wyndemere and mailed to her were filled with poison, and he gloated that she was probably already dead!
If Josslyn tells what she heard as part of her official debrief to Z, (John Oliver) then the syringes, if brought from Tortola, would be evidence in the WSB case.
Dante’s Hands Are Likely Tied, But It’s All For The Best
Dante’s hands are likely tied, but it’s all for the best-just like ultimately, it was for the best the police showed up when they did, saving her life in more ways than one.
In the GH preview for Monday, July 6, Britt rages against someone trying to visit and tells them to leave-it’s possible it’s her reaction to finding out Cassius is presumably dead.
However more likely, it’s the news that her “meds” were tested and the syringes contained poison-she’d just felt betrayed by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) who felt betrayed by Britt!
It makes sense for Britt to break down and not want to believe what she’s hearing and kicking the bearer of the bad news out of her cell, and it could be Dante.
He may tell her about the poisoned syringes, and Britt would be in disbelief, although eventually she’ll find out Cassius died as well.
