Prince Harry and Meghan’s Children Will Not Travel To The UK This Week

Instead, Prince Harry is going to make the trip on his own. Apparently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still not satisfied with the security protocols put in place, or the lack thereof, in the UK for their family.

According to The Independent, Meghan, along with Archie and Lilibet have decided to stay back in California next week after a request for police protection was denied.

But then again, this isn’t anything new. Prince Harry has been fighting for better police protection for his family ever since he and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in 2020.

For Prince Harry, he just doesn’t understand why his father King Charles isn’t stepping up and helping him get better security for his family, but that’s just the way it has been now for several years.

Since Harry and Meghan aren’t working royals, the monarchy doesn’t believe that they should get the same security detail as other members of the royal family. But the Duke of Sussex has argued that just because he’s a royal, there’s still a risk.

That said, it looks like Meghan Markle isn’t taking any chances and that’s why she’s staying behind, even though it’s been long reported that everyone was excited for this trip.

That’s because this was going to be the first time in four years that Harry and Meghan were going to travel to the UK with their children and possibly see King Charles while there.
