He could have had a say in this, right? That’s what a lot of royal critics on both sides of the pond are thinking to themselves as some people truly believe that King Charles is “evil” for doing this to his family.

And by that we mean not giving his American grandchildren Archie and Lilibet the security and protection they deserve in the UK.

Because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s request for police protection was denied in the UK, the Duchess of Sussex has opted out of the trip. She and the couple’s two small children, Archie and Lilibet, will be staying back home in California.

And because of it, a lot of people believe that the King of England clearly could have the Sussex request for police security approved, and especially since it’s for the protection of his two grandchildren.

While no one knows why the request was denied, it’s enough for Meghan Markle to know that taking a trip to the UK right now just isn’t worth the risk. That’s why she’s staying home with her children.

Meghan Markle Doesn’t Want To Take The Risk

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for the internet to comment about the matter.

Some even said, “This was my first thought too. Ok, dad’s mad at Harry and Meg. But to deny protection for the grandchildren is next level evil.”

Another critic wrote, “It’s sickening. I really just want the monarchy to collapse in on itself. There’s nothing worthwhile about them anymore, the RF is greedy, selfish, and narcissistic with a capital N.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Honestly, I’ve always thought this. The RF is purely decorative and a huge drain on GB. I would never understand why they didn’t just end the decorative monarchy (they have a parliament for god’s sake!) after Queen Elizabeth passed away.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
