Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Sydney Declares War on Cat After Sami and EJ’s Romance Is Destroyed

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sydney DiMera is headed back to Salem in recast form, so it’s time to start thinking about what she’ll be up to when she returns.

Sydney’s name has been coming up in recent months, so DOOL writers have been laying the groundwork for her to reenter the picture.

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has been in touch with Sydney over the phone lately and even pitched the idea of a trip together. It’s clear that Kristen is manipulating her niece as part of yet another plan to gain the upper hand on EJ.

Sydney may not be happy once she realizes she’s being used, but it’s also possible she’s already onto Kristen and her games. Perhaps Sydney could help EJ turn the tables on Kristen sooner or later.

Regardless, there’s someone else who could become Sydney’s next enemy once she makes an exciting Days comeback. It could be Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) who ultimately becomes Sydney’s revenge target.

EJ feels like his connection to Cat might’ve contributed to his relationship with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) falling apart after he woke up in Italy.

Based on Cat’s hypnosis memories of bonding with EJ, that certainly seems to be the case.

There’s a good chance that once Sydney returns, she’s going to blame Cat for Sami and EJ’s future getting derailed. Sydney may think Cat is the reason her parents aren’t living happily ever after right now, so she may make it her mission to get revenge!

As for who will be playing Sydney when she comes back to Salem, there’s no official news on that yet.

However, Sydney Malakeh was spotted with Days cast members at the holiday party a few months ago, so it’s possible she’ll be playing a recast Sydney DiMera.

Whatever the case, Sydney could become Cat’s worst nightmare in the months ahead on Days.

It seems likely Sydney will blame Cat for ruining Sami’s romance with EJ and hold her responsible for her role in the ISA-FBI investigation, too.
