Plus, James West (temporarily played by Easton Winn) rejected Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) after he told him the truth about Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

Key Takeaways

  • Josslyn feels guilty over Cassius.
  • Anna lashes out at Britt.
  • Curtis meets his newborn son.
  • Gio and Trina land a music deal.
  • James rejects Cody after the truth comes out.

Josslyn Felt Guilty

During her visit to Josslyn in the hospital, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) confronted her fellow captive about shifting the blame for the Spoon Island disaster onto Cassius instead of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

Josslyn stood firm in her assertion, claiming that Cassius had merely wanted them to believe he would intervene with Cullum; she also falsely accused Cassius of being the one who shot her.

When Liesl dismissed her version of events, Josslyn emphasized Cassius’s betrayal and manipulation, urging Liesl to move on.

After wishing Josslyn a swift recovery, a disheartened Liesl left. Alone, Josslyn remembered Cassius’s promise not to kill her; overcome with regret, she gazed up at the ceiling and whispered an apology to Cassius for her dishonesty.

Anna Interrogated Britt In A Stairwell

In a secluded hospital stairwell, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) questioned Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about whether she was aware that Cassius had held her captive at Wyndemere.

Britt denied knowing anything about her brother’s actions or his arrival in Port Charles.

Anna criticized Britt for not informing anyone that Cassius was impersonating Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), to which Britt explained that she had been coerced into complying with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum’s schemes because they convinced her she was terminally ill.

Anna remarked that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) had taught Cassius all his cunning tactics and suggested that Cassius knew exactly how to manipulate her.

Britt Tried To Help Anna Realize Both Of Them Had Been Manipulated

Britt attempted to help Anna understand that they had both been manipulated. She tried to help her see  that it was time for them to move forward.

However, this effort backfired spectacularly when Anna lashed out.

She accused Britt and Cassius of mirroring their father’s behavior: a predator who preys on the weaknesses of others.

After Anna firmly declared that she would not allow herself to be deceived by Britt as she had been by Cassius, Britt reluctantly acknowledged that it would be in their best interest to keep their distance from one another.

Trina and Gio Met With Kai And Emma

After their impressive musical showcase, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) found themselves at the pool, where they excitedly met up with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

They couldn’t wait to share the thrilling news that they had been offered a contract to perform as a musical duo. To add to the excitement, they revealed that the record label wanted them to open for one of its more established bands.

However, Emma’s reaction to the announcement was one of concern, as she seemed troubled by the implications of this opportunity.

As the two couples toasted with champagne to celebrate their success, Trina’s phone rang, and it was Aunt Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) delivering the joyous news that Trina’s mother had just given birth.

Trina And Kai Headed For The Hospital While Gio And Emma Discussed His Musical Career

Following this momentous occasion, Trina and Kai made their way to the hospital, leaving Emma to ponder the music contract.

She questioned Gio about his true feelings regarding the opportunity, wondering if he genuinely wanted to pursue a career in music or if he was merely going along with it for Trina’s sake.

Gio admitted that he was uncertain about his desire to become a professional musician, yet he felt a strong urge to seize the moment.

He realized that if he didn’t take this chance, he would always wonder what could have been.

To express his feelings, he serenaded Emma, and the couple shared a tender slow dance, enveloped in the warmth of the moment.

Jordan Told Stella About Helping Deliver The Baby

At G.H., Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) recounted to a thankful Stella how she came to deliver Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) baby, describing it as a beautiful experience she would always cherish.

Following this, Stella sought out Isaiah to share the joyful news.

Filled with hope for the family’s future, Stella remarked on the incredible teamwork between Portia and Jordan during the delivery.

But she urged Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) not to interrupt at that moment since Curtis was with her and the baby.

Curtis Met Baby Boy Robinson

In Portia’s hospital room, Curtis had the chance to meet his son for the very first time.

He and Portia shared a heartfelt moment with their newborn, and she expressed her regret that he couldn’t be there for the birth.

While they were discussing potential names, Isaiah walked in, much to Curtis’s annoyance.

Isaiah and Portia fawned over the baby until an irritated Curtis asked him to leave. Isaiah graciously complied, even offering his congratulations to Curtis as he departed.

Trina Enjoyed A Touching Moment With Her Baby Brother

Later on, Trina enjoyed a touching moment with her parents when she met her baby brother. Isaiah conveyed his appreciation to Jordan.

And she expressed her hope that her role in the delivery might signal positive changes ahead for everyone.

After Aunt Stella had her moment to admire the newborn, she reminded Portia and Curtis that the birth should serve as a wake-up call for them to set aside their differences.

Cody Worried To Molly About Telling James The Truth About Cassius

At the stables, Cody nervously told Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) that he would be the one to break the news to James about Cassius being an impostor.

He braced himself for the possibility that his nephew might resent him for delivering such news, but Molly comforted him, saying that revealing the truth only showed how deeply he cared for James.

When Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) arrived with a quiet James, she explained that since learning about his father’s death, James had been withdrawn, but he made an exception for Cody and the horses.

Cody took James into the tack room for a conversation, where James voiced his frustration over the lack of communication regarding his father’s passing.

Cody reminded James of his father’s words at the batting cages, where he had mentioned that James might hear negative things about him.

James Rejected Cody After He Told Him The Truth About Cassius

Gently, Cody explained that the ‘bad thing’ Nathan did was pretending to be his father. In response, James angrily accused Cody of lying.

Liesl arrived just in time to hear James shouting at Cody from another room.

James rushed into his Oma’s embrace, and Liesl sadly confirmed that Cody was indeed telling the truth.

As Liesl enumerated all the people in James’s life who cared for him, James abruptly declared that he no longer loved Cody and never wanted to see him again.
