Tennis fans know that the UK’s venerable tennis tournament Wimbledon is the latest sporting victim of the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year it was also the site of one of Meghan Markle’s temper tantrums, just one example of the kind of crude behavior that she is becoming known for based on numerous articles, insider accounts, and eyewitness quotes.
For instance, it has been reported that Me-gain selfishly announced her pregnancy at the wedding of Princess Eugenie, her husband Harry’s cousin. She couldn’t wait one more day, she had to steal the bride’s thunder?
It’s also been reported that before the colossal stunt known as Megxit, she demanded to leave a party thrown for her father-in-law, the future king of England because she was “bored.”
No wonder there is a boatload of books about her out there—plenty of content to fill the pages.
Was Meghan A Pain At Last Year’s Wimbledon?
So, back to Wimbledon. According to media consultant Sally Jones, Meghan was sitting in her row when Meghan’s security team asked her to not take pictures of the Diva–I mean Duchess!
They said that the actress was in attendance in a “private capacity.” Why you might ask, wasn’t she in the royal box, the traditional viewing area for members of the royal family?
This is so embarrassing–due to her choice in clothing, Meghan did not meet the standards of the Royal Box. Imagine that.
Meghan Was Forced To Sit With Members Of The Public Because She Was Dressed Inappropriately
Jones later said that Meghan and her team were engaging in, “silly control freakery.”
“I’m actually a royalist,” she said. “I think Meghan is a highly talented, lively woman who is a breath of fresh air for the Royal Family. But it saddens me that they are weakening their impact through this behaviour. It makes them look silly, it’s childish and takes us for fools.”
Lest you think that Jones is just a sour apple, she was not the only one who was left unimpressed by Meghan’s behavior that day. One club official later said that Meghan’s visit had been a “nightmare.”

Has Kate Middleton ever been called a nightmare? Kate has just addressed this year’s tennis cancellation with a poignant Instagram message explaining why Wimbledon has been postponed. As you may have guessed, it is due to the coronavirus pandemic precautions currently in place; the pandemic has interrupted the tournament for the first time since WWII.
