Mariah Copeland Returns

Let’s kick off this post with some exciting news. Mariah is finally coming home! However, that will mean more trouble for Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway).

Abby seems to have come a long way since the kidnapping, but Devon is just getting more angry. The man isn’t just angry with Mariah, but with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Devon isn’t opening up to Abby, either. That will just make their marital issues even worse. As for Mariah, she will likely get a wonderful reunion with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and others. 

Devon Winters’ Fury

Devon could walk by and happen to see Mariah celebrating her release. That might make him even angrier. Devon wants Mariah to be punished, not be celebrating.

Of course, Mariah isn’t celebrating that she got away with anything. Her loved ones are just happy she’s home and recovering mentally. I fear that Devon could try to take matters into his own hands, though.

Noah Newman’s Dilemma

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 3 reveal that Sharon will help Noah with a tough decision. I wonder if this has anything to do with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). 

Noah might be concerned that Sienna might have unresolved feelings for Matt. Sure, he did a lot of bad stuff, but Sienna also recalls the good times with her ex-husband.

So, she might not want to admit it, but there could be some feelings resurfacing. I’m not one for catfights, but I would actually love to see Sienna go up against Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). 

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect in the next episode of Y&R, look for Victor and Nikki to come to an agreement. What does this mean for their future?

While they could get back together, I do think Nikki needs to be realistic about the man she married. Do Victor and Nikki still have a shot, or are they making the wrong move?

There is no doubt they love each other and are loyal, but they are two totally different creatures.
