General Hospital’s Steve Burton hasn’t had a good week, a good month, or even a good year for that matter. And it seems like there’s a good reason for it.

That’s because everything that could go wrong has definitely gone wrong – both in his personal life and his professional one, too.

In fact, there’s a new report that suggests the actor, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, has been left humiliated over this one latest revelation.

According to US Weekly, Steve’s ex-wife Sheree Burton says that she did allow her daughter to move from Tennessee to California, even though Steve’s relocated back to the west coast.

However, Sheree also admitted that she and Steve have very poor communication when it comes to their daughter and how they co-parent.

Also, even though she is Brooklyn’s primary caregiver, Sheree says that her ex-husband “traveled extensively and spent the majority of his time in New York or Tennessee when he wasn’t on set in Los Angeles.”

If that weren’t enough, his current wife, Michelle Burton, has been forced to end certain rumors about their marriage, too.

What’s Next For Steve Burton?

There was speculation earlier in the year that suggested Steve had left the show to focus on his personal life and his marriage to his wife, Michelle.

And while no one knows if that’s true or not, there were some rumors on social media that said Michelle wanted Steve to spend more time at home than on the set of the show.

Well, that couldn’t be any further from the truth as Michelle made it clear that she’s very proud of the work her husband has done now that he’s been nominated for a Daytime Emmy.

Michelle even took to her Instagram account to write, “So well deserved. Your Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and heart you’ve always poured into Jason Morgan.”

She continued, “You are incredibly talented, always so prepared, and you give everything you have in everything you do. So beyond proud of you.”

So far Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about the matter, although we will definitely update you with all of the latest details the moment they come in. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
