General Hospital Spoilers: Ava & Drew Drug Brennan – Triggers OD?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will plot to drug Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) during the week of August 24-28. Could the man end up overdosing? Read on as we unpack this over-the-top storyline, below.

Jack Brennan’s Exit

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Brennan is set to exit the canvas this fall. In fact, reports reveal the man will be killed off. Could Drew and Ava drugging the WSB chief trigger a chain of events that will ultimately cause Brennan’s demise?

The ABC soap’s weekly promo shows Drew and Ava at the Metro Court Gardens. The two are scheming as he tells his new partner in crime that he needs her help keeping Brennan occupied so that he can search his hotel room.

Then, a clip is shown of an unknown woman placing drugs into someone’s drink, and then Brennan, seemingly uncertain about something.

There’s a good chance Drew is hoping to find the information Brennan has been blackmailing him with, so that he can turn the tables on Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen). But will this scheme end horribly?

Things Go Awry

Brennan has just recovered from ‘locked-in’ syndrome, just like Drew. Could the drug that Ava slips into his drink trigger an unknown reaction? Then again, Brennan may be allergic to the meds she’s placed in his beverage, which could cause dire circumstances.

Drew doesn’t necessarily want Brennan dead and may feel bad about what’s happening (if Drew is capable of that kind of emotion), but that doesn’t mean that he or Ava will come forward with what they did. Even if it could save Brennan.

Brennan may slip into a coma and fight for his life. There’s a good chance he may end up in the hospital for weeks until someone else ends his life for good. This arc does have potential for a ton of twists and turns, so only time will tell.
