He might be back, but that doesn’t mean he’s back for good. Clearly, we are talking about General Hospital star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) as there’s some speculation suggesting that his return to the small screen might be a short one. Keep reading below!

But now that he’s back, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like many people really care. That, or others simply didn’t pay attention. That’s how much people have stopped caring about Jason, apparently.

It seems though a lot of people saw Jason’s returning scenes are so underwhelming that they are actually disappointed that it’s come to this. After all, Jason Morgan has always been considered a legacy character, right?

Not only that, but Steve is also dealing with some major drama in his life and a very difficult commute. The actor currently lives in New York with his wife, Michelle Burton.

Steve in a nasty custody battle with his ex-wife Sheree Burton over the couple’s 12-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.

According to US Weekly, Sheree says that she did allow her daughter to move from Tennessee to California, even though Steve’s relocated back to the west coast.

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Steve Burton?

However, Sheree also admitted that she and Steve have very poor communication when it comes to their daughter and how they co-parent.

Also, even though she is Brooklyn’s primary caregiver, Sheree says that her ex-husband “traveled extensively and spent the majority of his time in New York or Tennessee when he wasn’t on set in Los Angeles.”

Furthermore, the site also says that Sheree says Steve’s relocation was the second time he moved cross country without Brooklyn, explaining that she signed a stipulation she thought was in her daughter’s best interest.

So, with everything going on in his life and the fact that he’s commuting from New York to California, we have a feeling that Jason won’t be back for long.

So far the producers of the hit ABC soap have not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
