Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are reportedly moving to the Cotswolds, where they will live close to other celebrities such as Ellen DeGeneres and Jeremy Clarkson, as well as people like the Beckhams.
It’s not clear how those celebrities feel about that, but one influencer who lives in the area seems very excited about it. Read on for more details.
Cotswolds Influencer Welcomes The Sussexes
Josie Irons describes herself as a “Cotswolds-based beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger.” Apart from posting daily vlogs about the area, she also has a website named The Perennial, which contains a shop and covers lifestyle, fashion, gardening and more.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemingly have no reason to worry about any resentment from Josie, who appears positively excited about their arrival.

In a short video on YouTube ahead of the weekend, she said she had discovered that she would be a neighbor of the couple.
“I have two things to say about that,” she told her followers.
She then said she feels “really, really happy for them.” Notably, if she were in their position, she would also move to the Cotswolds.
Josie explained that she has lived there for more than five years and that it doesn’t matter when the area receives “global visitors.” She believes the move for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be a “good thing,” adding that there “is plenty of Cotswolds to go around.”
Will Harry And Meghan Fit In?
As for fitting in, Josie Irons said the former working royals should slot right in. She talked about how the area isn’t too far from Highgrove. Meanwhile, Meghan loves gardening, and the schools should be good for the children.
Josie also said that if she were doing her farm shopping and happened to run into Meghan, she might simply say hello and then probably ask her if she wanted to do some “Pilates” with her.
She believes Harry, Meghan and their family will love living in the area. Certainly, she sounded extremely welcoming and didn’t buy into all the negativity surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Additionally, Josie explained that nobody gets carried away by celebrities in the Cotswolds. Residents simply carry on as normal if they come across famous faces grabbing a beer in the local pub.
Viewers React To The Video
The reactions were interesting, and very few people appeared to like the welcoming tone of the video. Some vicious opinions arrived in the comments, while several existing followers said they felt disappointed.
One irritated follower said:
I’m surprised at you, Josie. I wouldn’t be happy they were coming to live near me after the way they treated their families. They are a disgrace.
Here’s another example of the strong reactions: “Yes, many celebrities live there, but none of them are on video mocking the Queen, are they?”
A third commenter penned: “Name-dropping the Harkles as if you needed relevance or fame. You’ve shown a different side of yourself, and I think we all can see it. Quite disappointing!”
