General Hospital Recap September 11: Jason Rejects Britt, Drew Threatens Willow & Tracy Plots A Divorce

General Hospital recaps for Friday, September 11 revealed Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) said no, while Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) questioned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) tried to commandeer a divorce for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton)!

Jason Says No

At the boathouse, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) asked Jason to support her in reporting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for attempted murder.

However, Jason declined, arguing that he believed Anna wouldn’t have actually gone through with it, meaning Britt was not in real danger. Hurt by Jason’s refusal to inform the police about what he saw, Britt was frustrated.

Jason couldn’t understand why she wanted to punish Anna for her actions stemming from the trauma of being held captive at Wyndemere.

“How can you want her locked up or prosecuted for what she did when you know she was a prisoner and you did nothing to help her?” Jason challenged.

Baines Questioned Carly

With Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) missing for several days, Carly and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) suspected he had left for good; WSB Agent Baines visited Carly’s office to question her and Valentin about Jack.

When Baines suggested Carly might be involved in Jack’s disappearance, Valentin quickly defended her, Baines then accused Valentin of murdering Brennan as revenge for the Pikeman deal that landed him in Steinmauer.

Carly interjected, suggesting Baines investigate Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), recounting an argument she witnessed between Jack and Nina, where Nina threatened to “destroy” Jack if he didn’t deliver something for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

After Baines departed, Valentin expressed his annoyance at Carly for implicating Nina, admitting he felt partly responsible for Nina’s connection to Jack. He noted that if anything happened to Brennan, Nina would likely be the main suspect.

Ava Caught Up With Nina

At the Metro Court Gardens, Ava Jerome (Maura West) filled Nina in on her tick issue, sticking to the same cover story she had shared with Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

She claimed she had contracted the parasite after petting a strange dog. Nina expressed her frustration about not hearing from Jack since their argument over Willow, wishing they had both approached the disagreement differently, as she genuinely liked Jack.

Unable to reveal that she was aware of Jack’s death, Ava reassured Nina that the distance between her and Jack was ultimately for the best. Meanwhile, Baines observed the two women from across the restaurant, his gaze fixed intently on Nina.

Jordan Visited Curtis And Spilled The Brook Lynn Beans

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) paid a visit to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at Pentonville, where she discovered that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was now his cellmate.

.’Concerned that Sidwell might seek revenge on Curtis for her betrayal, Jordan voiced her worries. But Curtis remained confident that Jenz had enough attention on him from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) associates in prison.

Jordan then revealed to Curtis that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had admitted to being the other driver in their accident.

Furious that Brook Lynn was only facing a misdemeanor charge, Curtis shouted that none of the events leading to his imprisonment would have occurred if she had come forward sooner.

Brook Lynn Tried Making Amends With Trina

During a heartfelt moment at Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) place, an emotional Brook Lynn expressed her sincere apologies to Trina for her silence following the devastating car crash.

In response, Trina unleashed her frustration on Brook Lynn, condemning her for the selfish choices that ultimately tore the Ashford family apart.

Brook Lynn, eager to make things right, insisted that she was trying to amend her past mistakes.

However, Trina was quick to call her out, accusing her of orchestrating the recording contract merely to alleviate her own guilt.

Feeling betrayed and hurt, Trina made it clear that she wanted nothing further to do with Brook Lynn and firmly refused to grant her forgiveness.

Tracy Tried To Commandeer A Divorce

Unbeknownst to Brook Lynn, Tracy approached Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to assist with her granddaughter’s divorce from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

She wanted to  ensure that Brook Lynn secured primary custody of Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton). Tracy mentioned that Chase had been pursuing Willow for several months but had yet to overstep any boundaries.

Alexis clarified that for Brook Lynn to initiate divorce proceedings based on irreconcilable differences or emotional cruelty, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) would require evidence of infidelity.

She advised Tracy to have Brook Lynn reach out to the office to discuss her options with Diane; with a plan forming in her mind, Tracy couldn’t help but smile smugly to herself.

Ned Reasoned With Chase

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) urged Chase to reconcile with Brook Lynn, referencing his own past with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Brook Lynn as a cautionary tale about missing out on time with Phoebe.

Chase expressed doubt about whether he could restore the broken trust with Brook Lynn, particularly since he had already forgiven his wife for attempting to frame Willow for the car accident. They had agreed to eliminate secrets between them.

Before leaving, Ned posed a final question to his son-in-law: “Are you upset because Brook Lynn lied and tried to frame someone for her actions? Or are you really upset because the person she targeted was Willow?”

Drew Toyed With Willow

Willow got to her office and found Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) waiting for her-aware of Jack’s death, Drew sought to determine if Brennan had given his ex the evidence of his embezzlement.

He mocked Willow, claiming that without Jack’s fake proof, she had lost her power over him, while he had plenty of leverage against her and Nina.

When Willow pointed out that he had no evidence of any crimes, Drew threatened to reveal that she shot and drugged him, and that Nina attempted to drown him.

Willow, unfazed, smirked, saying that such actions would only embarrass Drew after his dramatic performance during her trial.

Drew then issued a vague warning that Willow might not be as safe with Nina and her wealth as she believed-after he left, Willow’s confidence faded.
