Kirsten Storms’ IG Post

Storms hopped on Instagram and posted a Franklin Police Department report stemming from December 3, 2025, which documented a follow-up to a call she made on November 22 about a potential break-in in her Tennessee apartment.

In the caption, she wrote, “I’m only doing this because that led to an **unnecessary custody case** being filed against me,” she wrote of her decision to make the report public.

 Storms noted, “I’m now being asked to attend mediation. Not being asked to be in front of a judge.”

It had been previously reported that Barash had requested an emergency restraining order for their daughter against Storms.

The Situation

As per the police report, the actress told officials that she had been away from her apartment for medical treatment and work from August 1 to 9. When she returned, she noticed the deadbolt lock on her home’s door was damaged.

In addition, Storms reported that items were missing from her home; however, they were later discovered in her car. She told the authorities she did not put them there and wasn’t sure who did.

The actress also reported a number of unknown devices linked to her Wi-Fi router, believing someone unknown had access to it.

The report reveals that the General Hospital star provided screenshots, videos, and photos to the police. It also shows no offense report was made during the first response, and no evidence was given at that time.
