Michael Welcomes Billy And Sally To Crimson Lights

At Crimson Lights, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) is busy working behind the counter when Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) welcomes Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). He mentions that their wedding is coming up soon.

He leans over to Billy and excitedly mentions the bachelor party happening tonight; Sally tells him to make sure Billy stays out of trouble.

Michael responds that he might not be the best person for the job, since he ended up getting everyone arrested at Nick’s during his last bachelor party.

Esther delivers a coffee to Michael but doesn’t look pleased about it-he complains the coffee is only warm and gives it back to her; she even criticizes his order choice, saying pumpkin spice is “so last year.”

Michael Clarifies Things For Sally

Sally wonders what’s happening, and Michael clarifies that Esther is frustrated with his mother and is holding him responsible as well.

Esther explains that she’s upset about being left out of the family vacation that Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) arranged, even though almost everyone else got to go.

Billy questions why Michael didn’t join them, and Michael says his job responsibilities keep him tied down. Esther leaves in frustration, and Sally expresses sympathy for her.

Michael advises them not to worry too much about the reality that marrying someone also means becoming part of their family.

Esther Turns Up The Charm

Esther turns up the charm while serving Billy and Sally their orders, casually probing whether she caught wind of an upcoming celebration.

Her fishing expedition for an invite is transparent, and Michael promptly whisks her away from the delighted couple.

However, Sally’s generous nature shines through as she calls them back-she extends a warm invitation to Esther for her bachelorette party.

Esther beams with enthusiasm and assures Sally that the evening will be unforgettable. Once Esther departs, Michael confides in Sally that disappointment is inevitable, though he acknowledges that Esther possesses a genuinely kind heart.

Chelsea And Audra Join Sally At The Table

Following Michael’s exit, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) join Sally at the table; Sally expresses interest in their plans.

They deliver disappointing news: several guests have fallen ill with a stomach bug and withdrawn. Billy leaves to allow the women privacy for party discussion.

While crossing the patio toward the exit, he encounters Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), deliberately avoiding eye contact and attempting to pass-Adam requests a moment to talk.

Inside, Audra receives a cancellation text for tonight’s party, followed by another for Chelsea-the illness is spreading rapidly.

Adam Confirms Billy Knows He’s Coming To The Wedding

On the patio, Adam confirms Billy knows about his wedding attendance; Adam seeks reassurance that things won’t be awkward, but Billy insists it’s already too late.

Billy urges Adam to refuse Chelsea and skip the event, though Adam declines. Billy suspects Adam’s attendance is meant to provoke him-Adam counters that Billy will be too preoccupied to notice his presence.

Billy warns of inevitable conflict and threatens that Adam won’t sabotage his wedding; inside, Audra and Chelsea attempt to reassure Sally the party will succeed.

Audra seizes the chance to criticize Chelsea’s presence at the event, then attributes the remark to Esther.

Audra And Chelsea Get Cancellation Notices On Their Phones

Audra and Chelsea each receive cancellation notifications on their phones; Sally reassures them the event will still be enjoyable with just the three of them, while Chelsea jokingly suggests recruiting strangers to enliven the gathering.

The sound of Adam and Billy quarreling on the patio dampens their spirits. As Chelsea and Sally prepare to intervene, Audra insists on handling it herself, positioning herself as the neutral party best suited for the task.

She marches outside and demands they sit down-when Billy attempts to leave, Audra blocks his exit.

Both men reluctantly take their seats as Audra delivers a stern lecture about Billy’s upcoming marriage to his ideal partner and Adam’s role in breaking her heart.

Audra Warns Billy And Adam To Behave Themselves Or Answer To Her

She cautions them that the wedding must unfold without complications, or they will experience the full weight of her wrath.

She departs the scene before they can offer any response-back inside the venue, Chelsea expresses her sincere appreciation to Audra for stepping in and taking decisive action.

Esther then approaches and brings up a male exotic dancer from the 1980s era, confidently suggesting that he would be an excellent performer for the event.

Audra skillfully sidesteps the suggestion by explaining that male strippers simply don’t fit with the aesthetic and direction they’ve envisioned for the celebration.

Esther bristles at this rejection and defensively recharacterizes the performer as a legitimate artist before storming away, visibly annoyed and frustrated.

Nikki Drops By The Abbott Mansion

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) prepares for Billy’s bachelor party while assuring Diane there won’t be strippers. Diane mentions her hair stylist is ill, so she’ll manage her own styling for Sally’s bachelorette party.

Jack compliments her appearance. When the doorbell rings, Diane jokingly tells Jack that Nikki-who answers-must be the stripper he promised against.

Jack is exasperated by the quip. Diane claims it was harmless humor, assuming Nikki won’t mind.

Nikki responds that she’s unbothered by her past and proud of her former dancing career, making a pointed remark to Diane about the skill required.

Nikki Is Visiting On A Personal Manner

She mentions she’s visiting on a personal matter, but Jack’s phone call forces him to leave Diane and Nikki alone; Diane questions whether Nikki needs to visit daily.

Nikki suggests that if her presence bothers Diane, she needn’t stay-Diane insists she’s happy to spend time with her.

Diane boasts about Jabot Classic’s new products, and Nikki suggests she’s feeling pressure from Vibrante and scrambling to keep up.

Diane counters that her new products will overshadow Vibrante-she offers Nikki an exit from the cosmetics market if she’s intimidated, but Nikki calls competing with her a bonus.

Their exchange intensifies as Diane hints that Victor might restart the family conflict; Nikki denies Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) involvement but warns she’s ready for war if Diane wants one.

Diane Accepts But Doesn’t Want Their Husbands Involved

Diane eagerly accepts and asks Nikki to keep their husbands uninvolved; before Nikki responds, Jack returns; he asks what he missed; Diane falsely claims they discussed Billy and Sally’s wedding; Nikki confirms the lie.

Jack praises Sally’s positive effect on Billy, smiling at Diane while reflecting on love’s transformative power.

Diane kisses him, then turns to Nikki with a venomous smile, remarking how fortunate they are to have love that strengthens over time.

Diane excuses herself, mentioning she has an appointment with Michael-Jack expresses surprise to Nikki about how civil they’ve been with each other.

Nikki responds that they’re mature adults; Jack notes that Diane initially had concerns about Vibrante but has since become more relaxed about it.

Nikki Pushes Back, And Reveals She’s There About Nick

Nikki pushes back on describing Diane as mellow, though she remains optimistic that this situation won’t create conflict between their families.

Jack inquires what brought Nikki to see him, and she reveals it’s regarding Nick-Nikki outlines Nick’s determination to remove his former drug supplier from the community.

She acknowledges he’s under considerable strain, and  Jack expresses concern about Nick pursuing his old dealer, regardless of his good intentions.

Nikki further shares that Nick is refusing to attend support meetings, claiming they didn’t help Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow).

Jack grows increasingly worried-Nikki asks if Jack would be willing to speak with Nick; Jack responds that he’s already made the offer, and ultimately Nick must make his own decisions about what comes next.

Phyllis Rushes To Support Sharon

At Chancellor Park Café, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) brags to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) about Victor’s congratulations on her real estate deals, then wishes her a safe vacation.

After noticing a missed call, Phyllis rings Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) back. Sharon expresses concern about Nick, fearing he’s barely holding on despite not believing he’s relapsing, and asks Phyllis to visit.

Phyllis immediately agrees to support her friend; shortly after, Nick arrives at Sharon’s door-he compliments her new décor, and Sharon relaxes, relieved he isn’t upset about the changes to the house he’d given her.

When another knock sounds, Nick offers to leave, but Sharon asks him to stay, suggesting her visitor might help-he’s surprised to discover the visitor is Phyllis.

Nick Is Ambushed

Nick feels ambushed when Sharon reveals she had already invited Phyllis before his arrival. Noticing his injured knuckles, Sharon and Phyllis question what happened.

Nick claims he overexerted himself on the heavy bag at Victor’s gym-when he attempts to leave, Sharon pleads with him to stay.

Phyllis offers to depart instead, but Sharon insists they’re unified-Nick remains silent as Phyllis asks if he’s relapsed. Sharon demands details about the dealer and Marie’s overdose;  Phyllis is stunned to learn Marie has overdosed again.

Phyllis Thinks Someone Like Marie Will Derail His Recovery

Phyllis warns Nick that someone like Marie will derail his recovery-Nick counters that Marie has no one else. Phyllis suspects manipulation, and  Nick notes Marie remains unconscious and hospitalized, making that unlikely.

Phyllis dismisses Marie’s condition, focusing solely on Nick’s well-being-she shares her experience overcoming addiction and offers support, having helped Jack before.

Nick admits he’s managing but finds it harder than anticipated. He brings up Matt, and Phyllis insists Matt is irrelevant-this is really about Marie.

Nick Refuses To Listen

Nick refuses to hear criticism about Marie and resists being told to distance himself from her; Sharon reveals that Nikki visited and knows Nick’s hand injury didn’t occur at Victor’s gym.

Nick confesses he pursued the drug dealer who supplied Marie, clarifying he brought police backup. When Phyllis asks if the dealer was arrested, Nick reveals the dealer escaped.

Sharon urges Nick to focus on his own recovery and allow Marie to receive hospital treatment, admitting uncertainty about how to proceed. Sharon recommends Nick return to rehab.

Phyllis Opposes Nick Returning To Rehab

Phyllis vehemently opposes this, arguing Nick will simply encounter more people like Marie there and should stay home to concentrate on himself rather than playing hero.

Sharon and Phyllis clash over the rehab decision, with Sharon dismayed at Phyllis’s interference. Nick thanks them both and attempts to leave, but Phyllis proposes the three spend time together relaxing and enjoying themselves. Sharon agrees enthusiastically. Phyllis keeps their destination secret, wanting to create a surprise.

Matt Returns To His Old Crash Pad

Matt returns to his old crash pad and sits on the bed, unable to believe he’s back. He examines his head wounds in the mirror, stressed about his predicament-broke, unwelcome in town except perhaps to Phyllis, and burdened with warning everyone about Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk)  escape.

His throbbing headache worsens as his demeanor shifts; he mutters he could skip the warning, then addresses his reflection.

A darker voice emerges from within, insisting everyone deserves their fate; Matt counters that nobody deserves what he’s done to them, but the sinister voice persists.

It argues he must protect himself and that kindness is weakness; despite his resistance, the voice intensifies, pushing him toward fleeing.

Matt Continues Struggling With Himself

Matt stands firm, refusing to budge; the darkness that’s consumed him leaves him unsettled, and he’s determined not to go further down that path-a sinister voice mocks him, calling him foolish.

Yet Matt clings to the belief that redemption lives within him; he yearns to become the person Phyllis envisions him to be.

The voice tempts him with destruction; strike a match, abandon everything, betray others before they betray you-but he resists.

The voice breaks free from his mind, manifesting through his own lips, bellowing that this is his true nature, unchangeable and eternal.

His compassionate core screams in protest, desperately denying this dark prophecy; after lying motionless in bed, Matt suddenly springs up with fierce determination and rushes outside, striding forward with unwavering resolve.

Diane Makes An Ominous Vow

At Chancellor Park Café, Diane settles into a seat across from Michael, who immediately picks up on her tense demeanor.

She reassures him that everything is under control-or will be, once she takes down Nikki. When Michael presses for details, Diane reveals her plan to sabotage Vibrante’s launch.

Concerned this could reignite the longstanding Newman/Abbott rivalry, Michael voices his worries, but Diane insists this is purely personal between her and Nikki.

She emphasizes that neither of their husbands will realize the conflict is anything more than business until Nikki is completely defeated.

Michael Attempts To Dissuade Her, Then Diane Becomes Ill

Michael attempts to dissuade her, yet Diane remains resolute, claiming she has everything figured out. She threatens to head home and prepare for Sally’s party if he continues being so discouraging.

However, as she attempts to stand, a sharp stomach cramp catches her off guard. She mentions she might be catching the stomach bug circulating around town.

Michael recoils in visible alarm; Diane announces she’ll be skipping Sally’s party after all.

Matt Sneaks Into The GCAC

At the Genoa City Athletic Club, Phyllis strides through the entrance, ushering Sharon and Nick along with her, and declares with evident enthusiasm, “Here we are!”

However, her companions don’t appear particularly thrilled by the revelation. Nick promptly voices his skepticism, mentioning that they frequent this establishment on a regular basis.

He expresses his confusion about what exactly the surprise is meant to be. Phyllis responds by unveiling the big reveal: she has become the owner of the place.

Meanwhile, Matt quietly slips through the front door without drawing any attention to himself and positions himself strategically behind the staircase, where he can discreetly watch and observe the group’s interactions.
