Beyond the Gates spoilers remind fans that this next appearance will be James’ third time on the show, while it’ll mark Khalil’s first time on the soap.

As per TV Guide Magazine, Lily and Devon will interact with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) as the Articulettes are set to record a new album.

According to the report, Lily will be a huge fan of the music group.

In addition, this crossover storyline will also honor the legacy of the late Kristoff St. John, who played Neil Winters, Lily and Devon’s dad.

James noted during the TV Guide Magazine interview that “He’s [St. John] a television legend, so I think it’s an incredible gesture.”

With Anita and the Articulettes preparing for an exciting new opportunity, Lily and Devon’s arrival couldn’t come at a better time.

Devon first went to Fairmont Crest in August 2025 to propose a jazz album to Anita.

He interacted with Anita, Vernon, and had a flirty run-in with Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley).

Devon also was a part of the huge crossover multi-episode event in June of this year that saw him, his wife Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) attend Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) political fundraiser.

As the Genoa City visitors arrived in Fairmont Crest for Martin’s fundraiser, a dangerous tornado was brewing that would turn the special event into a disaster.

Of course, a tornado hit the big event, and there were plenty of scary and dramatic moments.

In fact, the previous Beyond the Gates and Young and the Restless crossover became a major ratings success, proving just how much fans enjoyed seeing their favorite characters from both soaps together.

Fun fact: Mosley once played Amanda Sinclair as a temporary recast for a few weeks in 2021 when Mishael Morgan had to recover from emergency eye surgery.

Fans can expect to see Lily and Devon in the DMV on Wednesday, November 4.

I absolutely love when these two CBS soaps come together! Bringing Lily and Devon to Fairmont Crest is a wonderful idea, especially with the storyline honoring Kristoff St. John.

Neil Winters was such an important part of The Young and the Restless, and I think it’s lovely that his legacy continues through his children. I’m also looking forward to seeing Lily interact with Anita and Vernon.

And let’s not forget Devon’s previous encounter with Dani! I wonder if there might be a little awkwardness when he returns.

Either way, I hope CBS keeps these crossovers coming because they’re such a fun treat for longtime soap fans!
