General Hospital preview for Thursday, November 5, reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is blindsided, while Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) has a bold idea.

Elizabeth’s Blindsided

Elizabeth is blindsided at her job at General Hospital when Heather Webber (Alley Mills) approaches her; Heather, brimming with excitement, greets her with a big hug. “I moved back to Port Charles, isn’t that wonderful?” she exclaims.

However, Elizabeth’s expression reveals her dismay; the first thought racing through her mind is why her brother, Steve Webber (Scott Reeves), didn’t give her a heads-up!

It’s likely that Heather will soon share with Elizabeth that she has purchased Spoon Island, which includes Wyndemere and the stables. But what could possibly motivate her to acquire it? It’s nothing but a place filled with painful memories!

Tracy Trusts In Jason

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine estate, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) places her trust in Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as she inquires, “Can I count on your assurance for that?”

With Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) absent, Jason is managing Aurora, occasionally ELQ, and Deception. Additionally, there’s Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) making a claim on Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton)!

Jason clearly assures Tracy that he has everything under control, and she need not fret—it seems Tracy might be preparing to leave! She may be getting ready to hunt down Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard), according to fall spoilers where she leaves town to help a relative.

Serena’s Bold Idea

Meanwhile, at Bobbie’s, Serena presents a bold proposal—and judging by the expression on Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) face, it’s directed at her mother!

Lucy is taken aback as her daughter declares, “You know what—the hell with Deception!” Lucy has concocted one plan after another, insisting that Serena follow her lead to regain complete control of the company!

What no one anticipated was Tracy’s decision to merge Deception with ELQ, transforming it into a subsidiary. However, it seems Serena has a more appealing idea to suggest to her mother—the real question is, will Lucy take the bait?

Alexis Refuses!

At the Port Charles Police Department, Alexis declines when Valentin seemingly requests her legal representation—or perhaps he’s inquiring for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) had come to defend him but confessed that Valentin wasn’t providing him with much to work with!

Alexis informs Valentin that she’s not inclined to get involved, to which he responds, “Believe me, you want to!”

It appears that Valentin might want Alexis in the loop due to her connection as Scout Cain’s (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) grandmother, and he could be planning to implicate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) murder.

Sonny Tempts Jude

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has arranged a meeting with Jude, smirking as he warns him, “Do whatever you want, just stay away from me!”

Based on earlier discussions with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), it seems he’s attempting to bribe Jude to leave town and give up his pursuit of Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

However, Jude seems to have enough cash to toss hundred-dollar bills at the bar in the Brown Dog, indicating he might not be easily swayed.

Sonny may need to resort to the “business tactics” he recently left behind! Yet, when dealing with a criminal—or even the offspring of one—desperate times may indeed call for desperate measures!

Annemarie’s Take

Heather certainly knows how to make an entrance! I can’t blame Elizabeth for being shocked, and I doubt Sonny’s plan to get Jude out of town will be that simple. I’m also curious to see whether Serena’s bold idea finally gets Lucy to change course!
